We had a lovely double room with a private bathroom, which was very modern and clean. We also really liked the small terrace. The location was great, and we were able to park our car right in front of the house. Since it was the off-season, the front desk was unstaffed and some minor renovations were being done, but we were able to easily reach the very friendly staff via WhatsApp. We didn’t use the shared kitchen, so I can’t comment on it.

it was tucked away from the busy town nd you didn't hear any noise except birds.
The bathroom had one hand towel to share with other rooms. Perhaps each room could have their own hand towel to bring to the bathroom?
I also prefer to pay by credit card vs PayPal.

10/10! Gorgeous cabins with clean, comfortable rooms. The staff were so kind and welcoming! And they had two adorable dogs running around, a cute fish pond, and a tree inside the main common space! And the location was amazing, off the main road but within easy walking distance to everything!

Location was decent - near the town without being right in it.
- No real use of the kitchen but you did have use of the filter tap; a must for Puerto Viejo.
- very thin walls with the room beside, felt like we were in the same room.
- sound insulation was very bad: we could hear every passing car. This made it very difficult to sleep and we had to get ear plugs.
- the toilet near us didn’t have a shower so had to walk through the property to use it…
