Xenon Apartments

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment and would happily come back. The location is perfect – right in the heart of Chania's beautiful Old Town, making it easy to explore the city on foot while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped, and had a lovely terrace where we enjoyed spending time in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the host was easy and uncomplicated, and everything was well organized. We stayed for four nights and truly enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chania!

This place honestly left us speechless. I would describe it more as a boutique hotel than just an apartment because the photos really don't do it justice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. One of our favourite parts was the beautiful private terrace. It has two sun loungers, a table and chairs, making it the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. I know some reviews mention the stairs, and yes, they can be a slightly challenging. But honestly, they didn't affect our stay at all. If anything, I was happy to climb them after all the amazing food I enjoyed during the holiday! 😄 I definitely wouldn't consider them a problem. The location is lovely. It's a very pretty part of the Old Town, but away from the busiest and noisiest streets, so the evenings are peaceful and quiet while still being within walking distance of everything. There are only two very small things worth mentioning. Breakfast is served at the restaurant below from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The breakfast itself is delicious, generous and offers plenty of choice("cretan breakfast" is the best!). The only suggestion I would make is to offer an early breakfast on request, especially for guests who have to leave early for excursions to places like Balos. On Sundays the restaurant is closed, but the owner kindly left breakfast in our room for us the day before so we could still enjoy it. We weren't expecting that at all, and we really appreciated such a thoughtful gesture. If you need anything, just let him know in advance and he will have everything sorted. You're definitely in good hands! A special shout-out to the lady who took care of our room every day. An absolute angel!! Thank you for all the care and attention that made our stay so comfortable. The second small thing is that there was a minor leak from the shower.

Excellent location. 8 minute walk to the bus station to get to and from the airport. In the main area of Chania with plenty of shops and restaurants but just slightly off the main strip so not noisy at night. Breakfast was lovely. We had the first floor room with balcony and loved watching people wandering past admiring the streets.

Nothing not to like. One chair in the sitting area but TV is in the bedroom so that was fine. Netflix app on TV. Maybe a cushion on the balcony chairs would be nice for those of us with old bones. 😁

Δεν μου αρεσε που την πρωτη μέρα δεν ειχε συνεννοηθει ο ιδιοκτητης για το πρωινο, το πρωινο στο ψυγειο ξταν απαραδεκτο. Σχετικα με την καθαριοτητα στην διάρκεια των 6 ημερών άλλαξαν μόνο κατωσεντονο και πανωσεντονο και δεν έγινε αλλαγή πετσετων.
