Firstly the basic needs, everything listed is present and of a high quality, the place is spotless and beautiful, there's a full kitchen and drinking water station, pro overnight laundry service by weight and free fast meticulous room turndown. On a purely practical level this place ticks all boxes as an excellent base to explore Hoi An from. Now lets talk about what makes this a really special place, Nam and his family took such exceptional care of us during our month long stay I'd never stay anywhere else in Hoi An. The location is perfect, away from the heave of the tourist center and surrounded by the best places we ate in vietnam including Nam's cafe just down the road where he makes hands down, no contest the best salt coffee in vietnam and guests drink free. Seriously the coffee is so good I wanted to pay for it, but that's really the thing that puts this place head and shoulders above anywhere else I stayed in Vietnam. The genuine generosity not just in gifts of ground coffee and homemade hotsauce they gave us as we left but in time, patience and enthusiasm to make us feel truly at home in Hoi An. I will come back to Hoi An again in no small part because of Nam and his family at Golden Bell

I have stayed here before and loved it, and it exceeded my expectations this time! The location is ideal for Hoi An if you don't mind a short bike ride or longish walk - ten min bike ride to the beach one way (bikes are provided) or ten min to town the other way. Ryan was such a lovely host and when I left my toiletry bag with EVERYTHING in it and didn't realize it until too late, he overnighted it to our hotel in Hanoi. AMAZING service. We also booked a Cham Island tour through them and it was really fun!

Very clean, very convenient, excellent management. Absolutely great value for the price. I extended my stay much longer than originally planned. Wonderful experience.
