Could be cleaner (maybe change of the chair), also the price was a little bit too much for the comfort that we have. Great place for the dog, good breakfast (ingredients perfect, but have to make breakfast yourself in the kitchen.

Our host was wonderful! So friendly, she gave us such a warm welcome and plenty of space, was just on the other end of the phone if we needed her, and had even home-baked a cake for us – thank you! We were only looking for somewhere to sleep for the night where the dog could join in, but as soon as we arrived we wished we'd booked for longer! It's a beautiful tucked-away location set on a stunning farm, with lots of privacy, an enclosed garden for the dog to run around in, a kitchen fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, plus a fantastic separate bathroom just for our use in the stable block only a short walk along a beautifully tended country garden path. We loved all the fabulous decoration and horsey memorabilia across the farm – it felt like a specially curated movie set walking into the barn, yet there were still so many personal touches and family photos, which made for such a homely atmosphere, plus the bathroom has a real rustic country/cowboy feel to it as well, which just fit the vibe perfectly. We can't say enough how much we absolutely adored it! There's virtually no light pollution at night either, so star-gazing was an extra bonus we weren't expecting! The bed in the hut was so comfortable, we both slept like a log.

We only booked one night and we wish we'd booked to stay for longer!

The peace and quiet

Very very basic . I have stayed in several shepherds huts. I’m being kind by saying rustic . Couldn’t park anywhere near the hut and shower and kitchen needed a jolly good clean .
