Perfect night's stay, we loved it.

We loved the shepherds hut, so quiet and peaceful. The bed and bedding was so comfortable. We loved that we could just switch off and relax. The kitchen and bathroom were perfect and the breakfast was an added bonus .

Countryside stay

All of it was lovely. A very quaint setting with a lovely little cabin, plus a kitchen to make your own breakfast with quality ingredients provided. The host was lovely and even helped us out with our dog Max. We would absolutely return and would recommend.

Heavenly

I love animals, rustic charm, wide open fields, and friendly hosts. Mollies Hut has them in abundance. Being greeted by the delightful Sue the dog (fresh from the salon) and then meeting Mr Giant Ginger Paws and the other four cats - I was thinking 'I've stumbled into heaven' - but then to meet Honey the Shetland Pony and her two larger horse friends, was the icing on the cake. The hut was cute, compact, and clean with a log burner for warmth and fairy lights around the ceiling. Our wonderful host had left us homemade cake, tea, coffee, and milk in the kitchen and breakfast to be cooked by us at our leisure in the morning. - great quality ingredients. If I pass this way again, there's nowhere else I'd consider. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Super place to stay and a great base to come back to after a long day's adventure.

I absolutely love this place and I just feel completely relaxed and at peace when I'm here. This is my second visit and I would love to visit again and again! The Host, Mollie is always Very welcoming and adds lovely touches like Vicki sponge on the table ready for a nice cup of tea. Ground coffee and all the best ingredients for a lovely breakfast! I love seeing the sheep and the Horses in the field and stables and just feel really at home here in this idyllic country setting..if I could get away with living here forever,I bloody would. The simplicity and beauty of nature in all it's Glory and a great Host are the finest ingredients for a wonderful stay! Thankyou! Gav the carpenter 🪚

Very cozy hut in a serene countryside setting, very little disturbance and accommodating host.

Loved having breakfast foods provided to be booked at our leisure. The rustic setting was great, having a whole area of the farm far away from the main house and the other hut.

Lack of ventilation in the kitchen which meant lot of flies got in when we were cooking. The walk to the bathroom was quite far and no lighting on the way when it got dark.

A very special experience close to nature and to meet such a wonderful warm hostess

Wonderful reception and welcome when I first arrived, great hospitality with homemade cake and great breakfast provisions. I loved the surroundings and being so close to nature for a walk, to hear the birds,to watch the sunset and rise and to look at the clear sky at night. Very comfy bed.

Bathroom & kitchen facilities further away from the shepherds hut than I had anticipated so had to be quite organised with what I needed & when although it just added to the experience.

Stress free, relaxing and exceptional

Exceptional. Peace, quiet and tranquility. We are repeat guests. We love Mollies Hut. Diana is a wonderful host, always attentive and kind. If you want to get away from it all and unwind, this is the place for you. The welcome cake is just delectable and the hearty breakfast is bountiful. One million percent recommend this little gem in Somerset. We will be back again because we love it here. We always forget any troubles and feel refreshed and energised. The property was set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, offering a real sense of tranquility. We were lucky to have lovely weather and really enjoyed a scenic walk to the local pub.

Loved the facility, the host was fantastic. Very welcoming. Will be coming back for sure!

I think the cooking equipment (pans) provided could be newer as the pans seemed a bit old and had a lot of old grease on them. That's the only thing though! The rest was perfect!!

Peaceful, simple and lovely.

Perfect location, a peaceful corner of a field. Comfy bed, good shower and kitchen facilities in the stable block across the field. Simple, and back to nature. Amazing cake, light as a feather and kitchen had breakfast supplies in - eggs, bacon, bread etc. Diana was friendly and welcoming.

Exactly what we wanted and brought a smile to our faces.

Just a great set up. Different, but in a good way. We met the horses, our dog had a great time, and Diana was lovely. There was even a pub a couple of hundred yards up the road serving decent food.

Fantastic rural retreat

Stunning location, dog friendly. Host, Diana, is wonderful and welcoming. We are repeat visitors. The huts are lovely, the kitchen and bathrooms in the barn are great… rustic and charming. Idealic and a lovely experience but be open minded your on a farm

The actual hit was idealic and cosey with a little wood buner and the bed was so comfy One thing to improve is the bench outside was awaful and full of rot. The little kitchenette was based in the barn and was equipped with everything you’d need the fridge was stocked to make a full English in the morning a a delicious home made cake was left for us Just it was rather cob-webby and the tops felt a bit greasy and coujd of done with a way down with warm soapy water. The bathroom was spotless with clean towels left for our use We enjoyed our stay it was so peaceful and great having no television to stare at !! We played some card games lit the fire and enjoyed the scenery

The only let down was the kitchen Just a wash down to remove the greasy feel and it would be perfect

Mollie's Hut is absolutely wonderful! I loved every minute of my stay there, and did not want to leave! It's so quiet and peaceful with wonderful hosts, and beautiful scenery.

EVERYTHING about this stay was the best, it met all expectations and more! Growing up on a farm myself, it was like stepping back in time... The darkness, the silence, the smells (horses/barn), the horses, the birds, the lovely lovely green everywhere!!!!! I took my partner for his birthday and we just didnt want to leave! An absolutely perfect break from technology and every day life! Molly the owner is also the best person you could wish to meet! So warm and welcoming, baked us a beautiful cake.. Provided everything that we needed (including endless wood for the firepit!). I honestly couldn't see anyone fancying this sort of break being disappointed!

Chilled experience in a beautiful setting with a by-gone age feel about it. Just lovely.

Beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful. We had our two dogs with us and they loved being able to run around the grassed fenced area around the hut. Hosts were lovely, very tasty Victoria sponge waiting for us too.

Nothing really. The bathroom facilities are a short distance from the shepherds hut so if it was rain May be an issue for some. But, great shower in a farm industrial style.

Absolutely amazing stay, beautiful surroundings, comfortable, great facilities. Perfect for our dog, Rosie. Hosts were so friendly and relaxed. The only downside was we had to come home ☹️ would visit again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for our lovely, relaxed stay. Hope to visit again soon ❤️😁

Refreshed after being in nature

Great host, lovely location, beautiful hut with comfortable bed, great fire. Was lovely not to be charged for dogs as most places do. Great ingredients for breakfast and the homemade brownies and bread were delicious! Would love to stay again

Totally unique and a little gem of a place.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, offering privacy for guests. It is, conveniently located for many local attractions . The host provided clear directions for our arrival and was very welcoming and friendly, providing a beautiful cake (which was delicious) as well as milk, bread, eggs and bacon. The breakfast was lovely and we had a great night's sleep on a very comfortable bed, while the hut itself was spotless and very, very sweet. The lack of electricity in the hut would encourage anyone to slow down and relax, so this was a plus for us, while the stable kitchen and bathroom set-up was totally unique, providing everything you would need. Bear in mind that it is a stable though, so it is not 5* luxury.

The kitchen could have done with a little bit of a clean, but for us, the weekend was just fabulous so we didn't care!

The location was stunning. The hosts were very friendly.

The facilities were extremely basic with no electricity in the hut, or lighting/ kettle/ adequate seating. Kitchen utensils were old and could benefit from upgrading and replacing. The kitchen and bathroom were not located near the hut, which meant walking across a field to access them. The breakfast was an already opened pack of shop bought bacon and eggs left in a fridge and cheap shop bought bread. There was no homemade cake as mentioned previous reviews.

We had a lovely stay in idyllic setting - lots of space and privacy.

Lovely breakfast. Great to have our own kitchen and be able to cook what and when we liked. Excellent breakfast ingredients supplied. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful as we arrived by bike and we were offered a safe place to store them.

Superb

The hut was perfect, the location is set on a beautiful little farm and the hut was at the top of the field a short walk from the kitchen and bathroom located on the main farm yard. The hut itself was so cosy. The small woodburning stove heated the hut up so quickly and the hosts provided everything we needed to keep it going. The bed was so comfortable and we both had brilliant nights sleep. The bathroom and kitchen were brilliant, well set out and we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here. The host was fantastic, she send me a message in the morning with clear instructions to find the place and she was there to greet us and tell us what we needed to know. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back.

One tiny thing was that the hut didn't lock. This didn't bother us at all but it's something to be aware of just incase this worries you. However, the kitchen had a key so if there was anything you wanted to lock away that's always an option. Otherwise I have no other dislikes. It really is a perfect little getaway.
