Good location but extremely hot weather and struggled with the stairs and lack of facilities when check out

Great place to rest

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Katerina. The room was spotless clean. We loved having breakfasts and evening snacks on the balcony as it was in the shade and pleasant to chill on. Beach is 5 minute walk. There is taverns dowsnstairs with delicious greek food. Also, we rented a car from them (called Saint George taxi and car rental) and we highly recommend that as well. Overall very nice experience.

Great studio, good location

Everything was perfect: location close to the beach, the studio very confortable and having all we needed, very clean, spacious, nice balcony. Welcone and good-buy gifts were a nice surprise. The cat that visited us every morning in the balcony was a bonus :)

Nice affordable apartment to stay in Corfu

Nice apartment with a balcony and a equipped kitchen. Water pressure was strong with plenty of hot water.

Some of the kitchen equipment was severely damaged, rendering it useless. Everything was clean, but worn out, but that was expected from the property images.

Great value for money

Location is great, strategically positioned to visit other areas and georgios beach is just gorgeous in itself. Room was spacious and clean, and the personnell is very welcoming and friendly

Bathroom shower had some problem in the box closure, and just be aware that the countryside might be noisy in the early morning (e.g. roosters) and for the music of other hotels in the evening

Excellent hotel! Very nice hosts :) On the ground floor there is a tavern with delicious dishes. There are various board games, so you can have fun in case of bad weather. Well, in the room was such a pleasant surprise as a bottle of wine, which also warmed and pleased us)

Lovely big room , well appointed, lovely views Very friendly host.

The owner greeted us when we arrived , even though we were early, and showed us to our room. It was a very big room with excellent looking kitchen facilities. Although as we were only staying one night we didn’t have the opportunity to try them. The views were spectacular and the roome very spacious.

Wonderful stay in an amazing apartment with great food in the family restaurant

I just loved this place! Such a lovely family that run Villa Katerina and the restaurant! I felt welcome and at ease from the moment I arrived. The apartment was huge, very clean and had everything I needed and more (like a bottle of very nice wine!). The kitchen in my apartment was bigger than ours at home but I ate most meals in the downstairs family restaurant where they serve delicious food, really good wine and offer great service! Katerina arranged that I could hire a mountainbike for a very good price and she taught me how to make a proper Greek coffee. I am now making myself Greek coffee here back home :) If I go back to Corfu next year, I'll definitely go back to Villa Katerina!

Really can't think of anything that I didn't like, actually. Highly recommend it!

Low-key and calm place

The family that works there are very nice and hard-working people. Our room was cleaned every second day and we received fresh fruits from their garden regularly. Also a bottle of wine at arrival. These little gestures make a big difference. Please keep it going! The place is very quiet and only 5 minutes walk to the beach.

The prices of the restaurant were a bit expensive in my opinion. I chose this place because I read the restaurant was quite affordable but its actually the same prices as any other restaurant in town. So we chose to eat somewhere else instead. But i gotta say that the greek salad was the best one I had in whole Corfu!

We made many great memories in this incredible villa.

It was clean and had a great position. We got greated with a gift of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. We also recieved a parting gift. The staff was really nice and helpful.

There was a minor issue with getting the stove to heat up, however it was not a major problem.

The owner gave us better room, because the villa was not busy. They fixed the hot water problem really fast. The owners even gave us free welcoming drinks and small presents when we left. The views from the balcony were really nice. We felt like in the outskirts even though - everything was really close by.

The room was spacious and clean, It had air-conditioning and bathroom with towels. The room was being cleaned every day. There was a kitchenette in the room with everything we needed. The landlady was very friendly and hospitable. We were given some beers and water at our arrival, and also some liquor when we were leaving. The owner runs a restaurant downstairs with delicious homemade food at affordable prices. There is 5 min walking to the beach and stores. The area was calm. The place offers free parking.

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay in Villa Katherina. The room is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is well located only 5 minutes walk to beach and a good location base for touring the north of the island. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

Lovely, clean stay with great hosts!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Katerina. The room was spacious and super clean, the hosts incredibly lovely and the location was wonderful too (just at the end of the tourist area and close to a garden). We ate food every evening in their Taverna downstairs and and loved the food and the experience. I would totally recommend this place if you look for a tranquil stay where you can relax in a lovely environment.

7 nights stay in Villa Katerina

Very big room with a big sofa, with a small balcony where we had breakfast every morning. The owner was very kind and brought us fresh fruits from the garden.

When we had a shower a lot of water came out on the floor. Since the shower had glasses we thought to be better. Beds a little bit hard.

Apartment very clean and comfortable. Katerina and her family were all so kind with us, paying attention to all the details. She even gave us a bottle of liqueur made of a local fruit as a gift! Our breakfast was included and was very complete and delicious. Katerina was preparing herself the continental breakfast for us and even gave us some figs and peaches grown in her backyard. There was a kitchen in our room where we could prepare some meals. The location is also good! It's like living in the farm, but still very close to markets and restaurants and the beach (walking distance). I definitely recommend Villa Katerina!

If you are searching about what everything was bad, then this is not for you :)! But if you are normal person who only sleep at the acomodation- this is right place! Locaction is perfect, close to the beach, bars, restaurants. Comapre price- quality its perfect. ! The stuff is so friendly and helpful!

Great place to stay and experience the best beach on Corfu

Stayed here for 11 nights in Aug/Sep 2020. Katerina is an amazing host who welcomed us with a free drink, regale us with figs from her own garden for one of the breakfasts and presented us a small gift when we were leaving!!! The room is pretty spacious and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The cleaning was done every 2 days, towels were exchanged as well. Downstairs you will find a taverna with a great choice of Greek meals for reasonable prices, the portions are big and the food is delicious! Close walking proximity to the supermarket, the bus station (2 min) and the beach (5 min). You can also find the Marias Tourist Services nearby which offers transfer to many places on Corfu. Very convenient if you travel without a car.

We couldn't sleep with an open window due to the cars' noise from the main road so we kept it closed overnight and used an air conditioning instead.

Krásné místo, příjemné lidí v ubytování, skvélá restaurace. Doporučují

Byla jsem ve druhé polovině července 2025 ubytována se dvěma dcery ve velkém, pěkné zařízeném pokoji s balkonem s výhledem na hory. Nádherná krajina. Příjemné koupaní v moři a krásná dlouhá písečná pláž s pozvolným vstupem do moře. Pláž je velice čistá, voda tepla a příjemná na koupání, některé dny byly i vlny. Pro dětí je zde akvapark za příplatek. V destinaci je mimo jiné i možnost výletu s koupáním motorovými čluny. S městskou dopravou je to složitější, autobusy jezdí jen dvakrát denně a pouze do hlavního města Kerkyry. Avšak lze zde pronajmout auto, motorku nebo čtyřkolku nebo zakoupit zájezd v místní cestovní kanceláři. Destinace je klidná, s menším počtem turistu. Okolo jsou olivové háje, hory a malebná městečka, obzvlášť nádherná v paprskách zapadajícího slunce. Majitele ubytování jsou velmi milé, příjemné a pohostinné. Kdykoliv jsme se na ně obrátili s prosbou o pomoc vždy nám vyhověli. Pomohli nám také s dopravou z letiště a zpět. Pokoje jsou prostorné a velké a vždy pěkně uklízené. Na uvítanou jsme dostali lahev vina, což nás velmi příjemně překvapilo. Dole v penzionu je restaurace, kde se vaří řecká jídla. Jídla v restaurací jsou výborná, ceny jsou srovnatelné z ceny v okolních podnicích a u některých jídel i trochu nižší. Také jsme při každé návštěvě restauraci v naší vile dostali od personálu na ochutnávku nějaký místní drink jako pozornost podniku. A i při odjezdu z destinace každá z nás dostala dáreček. Vilu Katerinu a místní restauraci Angelo rozhodně doporučují.

Městská doprava. Autobusy jezdí jen dvakrát denně a pouze do hlavního města Kerkyry. Autobus nestavil přímo na zastavce, ale o několík metru dál. Na zastavkách je napsáno, že lístky se mají kupovat v kanceláří v určenou dobu, ale nenašlí jsme místo prodeje lístků a řidíč nám vynadal, že je nemámé a že příště nás bez lístku nevezme.
