The location to the Colosseum couldn’t have been any better than this! The room was quiet at night so we got a good nights sleep. We felt secure with 3 different locks to pass though. We enjoyed the private side yard seating area to enjoy a bottle of wine while looking at the colosseum away from the crowds. We enjoyed some of the recommended restaurants you sent me and areas to visit around the apartment.
The hardest part was navigating with our luggage to the apartment. We came from the main Termini station and the underground to the Colosso stop. But from there we encountered steep stairs and could have used more clear directions. Since the Metro stop was so close, we didn’t think it would be hard to walk and find the apartment. Maybe a cab would have been a better suggestion.

The hotel was directly across the street from the Colosseum (picture is from directly in front of hotel). Our room didn't have the best view because we were in the back, but it was clean and comfortable. We never met the proprietor but they left easy to understand instructions for how to get into the facility. It felt secure and had everything we needed. They even helped us arrange transportation to/from the airport. Wonderful place to stay for someone who doesn't need a lot of extra services.

The bathroom smelt like sewage all the time, no warning about the construction up stairs which woke us up every morning.
