It is a beautiful rustic location which would be great for small families and couples. Set in lovely rural location. I only met Jan who was very welcoming. it has a lovely cottage garden feel.
The location is VERY rural, there are no facilities (shops, restaurants, bars) near by (nearest about 9km away) only what is provided on site. So it’s not ideal for a single traveler or if you were looking to wonder down to the local bar or restaurant, there are not any, but I didn’t visit for the place, I was going to a wedding near by, so it was all about accidental location. The room I stayed in, a studio type apartment, had good facilities, but it was a bit musty and damp, could do with a brush up and airing, but hey! it’s all part of the “rustic” feel of the place. Value for money, I feel I over paid for what I got and as there are no shops around and I was there for only three nights, I was surprised there was no soap/shower gel provided, no coffee/tea, so I had to get all of this at a shop, and for a three day stay…
