Super clean, comfortable and delightfully decorated especially the lobby area. Staff were extremely friendly and did their best to help make my stay even better including receiving me after a late flight. Located right in the medina but surprisingly untouched by the noise and mayhem. The riad also has a wellness centre on site for those short on time or unable to travel afar to try a traditional hammam or massage. Highly recommend this property for a short or longer stay, won’t disappoint.

We loved our stay at Riad La Cigale. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The riad arranged airport and train station transfers, as well as a cooking class in the riad and Agafay Desert tour. We had daily breakfast on the rooftop which was a great start to our day.
Our cooking class was a highlight, where we made the best chicken tagine that we tasted on our trip.
Yahya was so helpful throughout the trip and took us shopping for our cooking class ingredients. Sana met our car from the airport and walked us to the riad since cars cannot enter the Medina. Pre-trip communications were good.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Everything was good. We had an open shower which was fine with us, but some may not like this feature.

The staff - Yahya and Sanaa - are incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. I wish all places I have stayed had such wonderful hosts! Any questions we had were answered, suggestions were given and their overall manner was was wonderful. The location was perfect and the riad was extremely clean. The breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious.
The room is listed as a deluxe suite. While it is a suite (there was a small living room before the bedroom), the room was a little too small to be called deluxe. The bathroom was too small to change clothes in and the doors into the bathroom were a bit akward. When booking this room, I thought it would be big enough for my mother and myself. It was a bit tight.

The location is amazing - right in the heart of the Medina, but down a quiet alley. It was the best of both worlds, right in the mix, but quiet too! The place is spotlessly clean and we were greeted and treated like old freinds throughout our all-too-short say.
The Booking.com listing mentioned parking, but the closest parking is Kousoubia, about a 12 minute walk away.
