Hotel Euphrat Nemrut

The location is perfect. It’s only 9 km to Mount Nemrut.

The floor in the room is sloping and uneven. If you have a car sick, then the uneven floor might make your car sick worse.

The location was very close to the Nemrut attraction; it was just a few minutes' drive, which saves a lot of time if you plan to visit the location before sunrise. The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the hotel was very quiet at night, and you could see the stars. It was a very quite area but somehow very windly.The staff were very helpful.

The location provided by Booking is inaccurate; you need to enter the full hotel name on Google Maps to reach the correct address.

Wow, just wow. The setting so near Mt. Nemrut and nestled in jagged cliffs was just stunning. Very quiet except for the wind and crowing chickens, both of which I loved to hear. Gorgeous pool although chilly but I still took a quick dip. Spacious room, comfortable bed and very clean. Wonderful breakfast with so many choices of cheeses, olives, jams, boreks. I don’t understand why some have complained about breakfast it was fabulous.

Only choice for dinner (and you can’t eat any place else unless you want a long drive) was Turkish pizza (lahmacun, and pide); salad; lentil soup. All over priced. Sad. The breakfast so spectacular but a thumbs down on dinner.

The beds were comfortable, the views from the hotel were lovely and, for once, we weren't woken by the Iman calling people to pray. It is also probably the nearest place to Nemrut, which enabled us to beat the crowds.

Do not follow their map. The hotel location is in the wrong place. It is another 6kms or so up the road. Road to the hotel is a bit crappy up. The main guy at reception was friendly enough but the other guy was a comolete grump. When we arrived, after a long day of travelling, we just wanted to have a nice hot shower and rest.... only for them to tell us that there was no hot water at night Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible way of running a business. Running an accommodation business that controls when you can have a shower. Talk about stinginess. We were very frustrated as this is what we like to end our long days travelling with, a hot shower. There was also a dreadful smell of shit when we arrived in our room. The outdoor pool was full of crap in it. They also turned off the electricity at night, exactly when we needed it for charging our devices. The bathroom floor was covered in water when we woke up in the morning. I have a feeling that this is why the room smelt so badly, sewage overflow. The shower was atrocious. The showerhead didn't have a decent spray. It just poured out like a flimsy hose. The temperature was very temperamental, going between extremely hot to extremely cold very often. I couldn't even tolerate the hot sessions, and I love my hot showers. Room temperature is a bit cold. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. Owner decided to smoke inside when we were all trying to enjoy our breakfast. Disgusting. He also was charging for water at breakfast, something he should already have provided at breakfast. This "man" is a complete Scrooge.
