What a pleasure staying here! We're on a 30-day car trip through Eastern Türkiye, staying mainly in moderate accommodations along the way. Movenpick was like that long-sought-after oasis in the desert. We've experienced Movenpick in other parts of the world and this one in Malatya lives up to the stellar reputation the chain enjoys worldwide. Cleanliness, comfort, and cared-for from start to finish.

The situation is good, and the building, originally a Hilton Hotel, very much of its time, ? 1970s.
Everything works, and the bathroom in the standard double room was good.
The breakfast buffet is perhaps the hotel's best feature, and a big underground car park if you have a car.
The decor is old and tired, the hotel could do with an interior face-lift. It is also 'dry', even for foreign visitors. Although Turkiye is a moslem country I most other hotels there serve beer & wine. I gather it is part of Accor, but not as good as the other Accor hotels I have used. Summary: Could do better!
