    Our experience at Kommagene Hotel was below average. The owner tried to scam us of more money when we arrived, claiming that he doesn’t get money from Agoda. After we pushed back on this he eventually let it go. But the owner definitely seemed to only care about making money. We were shuffled into the dodgy smaller hotel despite booking their “nicer” accommodation. Overall the place is ok to stay if you desperately need a base in Kahta or getting to Mount Nemrut but there are more friendly and less expensive options in the area. If you’re booking a Mount Nemrut tour, I’d also bargain hard on the price because it appeared that he just throws out whatever price he likes for this. Honestly, disappointing and I hope more options open up for visitors in Kahta in the future.

    Tesekkurr to breakfast staff vg great voices food from buffet variety breakfasts also young lad on reception was great help always..even if little English spoken.. tesekkurr...beware IRFAN...when your tour moneys spent...your not apple of his eye...left bad memory told 12pm dolmuse velka turimz bus pick at hotel...I awaited outside front...no bus came...50tl fare turned into 550tl for taxis I was very panicked for 1335pm flight ..lucky quick trip there and small airport....WHY no dolmuse pick up...after promise phoned friend from veka to collect me at hotel kommagene.....maybe a ruse???

    This hotel was fine our room was clean (missing toilet paper but fine). The hotel was accomodating as our tour didn’t know if we were staying one night or two nights- but they were flexible and able to accomodate that. We did have a couple of mix ups though. 1. The tour guide was told by the hotel reception to wake us up at 430 in the morning, by knocking on our door, for a sunrise tour. However they were actually meant to take the Austrian couple not the Australian couple. Whoopsie. 2. The price we had from the Agoda website was incorrect and the hotel owner wanted us to pay nearly double. He kindly honoured the Agoda price but we had to pay cash to do it.
