The service was exceptional, they make sure your entire stay is an experience. All the staff are so helpful and kind. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was great. Swimming area peaceful. Cannot fault the property

Beautiful property - kept impeccably and very clean. You can tell the owners/ staff take pride in what they do and that really makes a difference. Beautiful rooms. The staff are very kind - they really want to help you and are very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was beautifully kept and the garden was really nice. Our room wasn’t ready spacious and we felt we had just the right amount of privacy.
All the below is just meant to be a helpful suggestion, not a criticism. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Small things like the spa only being usable for 30 minutes per night of your stay (after then, it’s €25 per hour) - I understand needing to book to not disturb others but I think if you’re paying to stay, a little more lenience with this would be nice. We also booked the sauna one day but it wasn’t turned on when we went in so we needed to work that out ourselves.
Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived (even though we arrived 1 hour after the check-in time) and then we were told we absolutely couldn’t have a discretionary late check-out (we asked for just 1 hour grace on our last day) unless we paid €75. We were allowed to stay by the pool and the staff were very kind but it was a little disappointing.
More fresh water being available would be appreciated - maybe some dispensers. Especially in the heat of the summer.
Breakfast starting at 8.30am is a little late when I think people are trying to start their days early with the heat of the summer.
We often felt that staff weren’t available - we were often looking for people/ pressing the bell without response during the day.
I would say that cost-wise it’s a little expensive - nearing 5* hotel prices, but it was a beautiful place.

Location was not walkable to centre - we are young and fit but would not attempt the walk at night as on a main, unlit road
