We ended our trip to France at Domaine de Valmouraine. A perfect time to relax, enjoy the sunshine, the beautiful lands

The whole property and gardens are well maintained. The rooms are all updated with heated floors in the bathroom and elegant plumbing fixtures. The views of the gardens from the rooms was very calming.

Beautiful hotel in quiet location with wonderful staff

Everything, location, the exquisite beauty of the building and surroundings, dinner, the wonderful, helpful staff (they rustled up some lunch for us when we arrived famished after a long journey) I could have sat under the olive trees outside forever looking at the Alpilles with a glass of something. The pool was wonderful and the gardens beautifully landscaped. To visits sights and towns was not far to go. Our little spot of paradise, we hope to return to.

The shower water did take a long time to heat up and not being able to have dinner on two evenings due to the lack of guests, however the recommened restaurant, 6 minutes away, was so good , we went there twice

A Dream Stay in Provence

Everything! The hotel was the highlight of our trip. The location is peaceful yet just a 5-minute drive to the village. We loved our terrace room, enjoying breakfast outside with views of the gardens. The design blends a traditional façade with renovated interiors, and the French doors and terrace bathtub were charming touches. The staff were outstanding—always warm, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Service and quality felt just like a Four Seasons, which made it even more special. The pool area was beautiful and dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

An idyllic stay in St Remy

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the hotel. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. A special mention to Sara and Philippe (my sincere apologies if I have misspelt their names). They could not have done more to take care of us even though the hotel was full and busy, they always had time to make us feel special. The hotel, rooms, grounds and pool are beautiful. We did not have a car but we are keen walkers and so 2 of the days we walked the 3.5km along the canal to St Remy, had lunch and then walked off lunch on the way back and relaxed in the pool. We were sad to leave and hope to return again.

This is a gorgeous property with lovely attentive staff. We had a lovely porch off our room. Would go back in a heartbeat. Note that you do need a car if you wish to eat in surrounding towns and explore the area.

One of our best stays… beautiful hotel, we struggled to leave!

The service / staff are truly exceptional, this was one of our best hotel stays ever. They are very attentive, there is no such thing as no we cannot but instead how can we help. Our family room was stunning - clean, good size, and fantastic bathroom. A/c was very modern and strong given the 35 plus heat. The lobby is immaculate with very modern decor (felt like an modern art gallery with all the paintings / sculpture). Very comfortable seating with lots of light. The restaurant was excellent value and the food was some of the best we’ve had. Very tender and well cooked tuna steak and mouth watering beef stew. The pool is ultra modern and is again well staffed. Very comfortable loungers.

Nous sommes arrivés, il a fallu payer la chambre d’avance, et lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans la chambre, une chaleur épouvantable, problème de climatisation, certes un problème propre au jour de notre visite, mais nous aurions aimé à te prévenu lors de notre arrivée et surtout avant de régler comme par hasard ce jour-là, il fallait régler à l’arrivée et non au départ, le petit déjeuner. Certes tardif mais très s simple

Ein traumhafter Ort mit wunderschönem Garten und Swimmingpool mitten in der Natur

Dieses Bijoux von einem Hotel liegt mitten in der Natur, wirkt verträumt und ist sehr ruhig und abgeschieden. Es ist umgeben von einem großen, wunderbar gepflegten Garten mit reichhaltiger Pflanzenauswahl und hat einen prächtigen Swimmingpool. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel, was uns sehr wichtig war. Unser Deluxe Zimmer war geräumig, hatte eine große Terrasse und war mit Minibar ausgestattet. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, von der Rezeption über den Zimmerservice bis zum Restaurant. Aline von der Rezeption hat uns super Ausflugstipps gegeben und uns auch mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Es hat uns hier derart gut gefallen, dass wir grad noch drei Tage länger geblieben sind.

Wenn sich ein Hotel als 5-Sterne-Hotel präsentiert und über 600 € pro Nacht verlangt, erwartet man, in allen Bereichen einen entsprechenden Standard geboten zu bekommen. Dazu passt nicht, dass der Kaffeemaschine im Restaurant die Milch ausgeht und sie erst am dritten Tag wieder funktioniert. Auch mussten wir und manch andere Gäste einmal stundenlang warten, bis wir im Restaurant das Essen bekamen. Man muss dann einfach Abstriche machen und solche Unzulänglichkeiten humorvoll und gelassen hinnehmen und sich am Charme des Personals erfreuen. Als Aline von der Rezeption mal hilfsbereit einsprang, weil der Mann für den Frühstücksservice nicht erschienen war, fühlten wir uns wie ihre persönlichen Gäste. So geben wir dieser Destination insgesamt doch 10 Punkte.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in toller Lage mit tollen Mitarbeitern. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen

Die Lage ist toll, das Hotel reizend - mitten in der Natur. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, die Einrichtung top, die Terrasse groß und mit bequemen Liegen ausgestattet mit einem Bilderbuchblick. Das Personal war superfreundlich - von der Rezeption über das Restaurant bis hin zum jungen Mann der für die Poolarea zuständig war. Der Restaurantleiter Philippe kümmert sich toll um die Wünsche der Gäste.

Das Frühstück ist für 28 Euro pro Person zu teuer und die Auswahl zu gering. Das Ambiente beim Abendessen auf der wunderschönen Terrasse ist toll, die Auswahl an Speisen könnte aber größer sein.
