Friendly owner of the guesthouse, the shared kitchen was comfortable, and gave us the opportunity to meet other guests; the shared balcony is relaxing too; therefore we extended our stay for an extra day. There is mineral water dispenser. The location is in the heart of the village. The owner is also a wine maker, wine tasting in his wine cellar is a good idea when you stay there because of the stringent zero tolerance drink and drive policy.
It would be nice to have an airconditioner in the shared kitchen when the summer weather is so hot.

This was such a lovely guesthouse! It was well-located in the centre of Tokaj (although a little distance from the train station) and the facilities were extremely clean. The air conditioning was a very welcome bonus during the hot weather. Check-in and check-out were incredibly straightforward, and our host spoke excellent English and was always so helpful (and served us some excellent wine!)
A little clearer information about the self-catering and the distance from the train station would have been helpful, but there were many small grocers and cafés nearby, so it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Very friendly host, beautiful garden and excellent location in the city centre of Tokaj. The host speaks English. They have their own wine cellar in which we got a wine tasting outside of the official hours. The wine is very good for a reasonable price. Due to some traffic jam on the road from Budapest we arrived after the official check in time, but the host was very friendly and welcomed us warmly.
