Hôtel Pyrène

I had a comfortable stay with my motorcycle parked out the way. My room was a good size. Some fast food restaurants are a walkable distance.

Breakfast could have been better. The eggs and bacon were all gone at 8;30 am.

Good location to Foix. Lovely pool. Nice gardens.

The bed needs some sort of soft mattress protector & better softer sheet. Breakfast was just about adequate.

The hotel was nice and the parking was low stress and secure for everyone, which was good for my motorbike. The staff were very friendly and accommodating even though I arrived well before the stated check-in time.

The lunch/dinner options weren't clear and I might have had dinner there if there had been an obvious evening meal option. It was quite a walk into Foix, so it's good as a stopover but not ideal if you don't want to drive into town for whatever reason.

We had reserved 2 bedrooms 3 months before and they put us on different floors. Our room smelt of smoke even though it’s a non smoking hotel. when I complained I was told that the hotel is full. I was asked to open the windows. then entrance to the hotel is a construction yard. Garden appeared unkept and no place to relax with a coffee anywhere. this hotel is at best a 2 star motel. a reasonably clean stopover to somewhere else.
