The fact that Casa Cuseni is a UNESCO Heritage site and wonderfully kept (the swimming pool has been restored!) ensured that we were, indeed, surrounding ourselves with the culture of the locality.
Make sure to ask about receiving a tour of Casa Cuseni - we missed that due to timing and so did not see as much of the casa as we would have wished.

Individual, Interesting, only a few rooms, staff were great and very helpful, breakfast was lovely. Great location, views of the sea and Mount Etna.
