Lovely but a few changes to be made or improve.

Great location right on the beach. The rooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable and a great size room and very clean. The balcony with the chairs and table and lounger were a nice surprise and we had a great view across the bay. However, I agree with some of the comments other people have made, I think it is not right to be charge an additional fee of £35 for sunbeds when you are staying at the hotel and paying £200 a night, that then brings the price to nearly £300 to pay for beds for two half days. The hotel was lovely but does not warrant this price tag. The breakfast was in the beach cafe and was a limited choice of food and not of a great standard. We were encouraged to make a reservation at the restaurant. I'm not sure whether this is run and belongs to different owners but despite making the booking some months ago, we were made to sit inside, rather than on the lovely balcony area looking out to sea. There were other guests staying at the hotel also sat inside. Despite me querying this, the guy was quite rude and dismissive, the tables outside remained empty until about 10pm. It also seemed very much we will take care of all the Italians and our locals and treated second rate as a customer of the hotel. When people are encouraged to use the restaurant by the hotel there should be some priority booking/seating for guests who have made the reservation months before. A beautiful area with a lovely drive and lovely beach but limited eateries and with the rudeness of the staff in the restaurant not somewhere I would want to stay for longer than 1-2 nights. The hotel need to mention this to the restaurant as I believe it will affect their bookings going forward.

A perfect seaside escape with comfort, views, and warm hospitality

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Ambra! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach. The room was spotless, fully equipped with every facility you could need, the breakfast was delicious and the sea view was simply breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. I absolutely recommend this place without hesitation

Excellent seaside hotel

Excellent seaside hotel with perfect sunset view from our terrace, very welcoming hosts and a varied breakfast. Out of season meant a very peaceful evening, in season is probably rather more lively, as sea bathing and dining are litterally on the spot. Easy parking close by.

The pillows were not as comfy as expected, no great matter for a short stay.

Great value hotel with a beautiful beach

The staff were friendly and really helpful. There was private parking very close to the hotel and it was an easy drive to other beautiful areas on the peninsula. The beach was sandy with loungers available for guests. The fish restaurant on site served delicious food and the service was great. The room was well appointed and spacious and really comfortable.

We stayed for one night whilst travelling around Italy. Our room was at the front of the hotel so we did get a lot of road noise. If you are staying longer then I would recommend a beach view as it’s so beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful location and hotel. Room was lovely and beds were super comfy, all was exceptionally clean and staff were friendly!

Couldn’t get air conditioning unit to stay on (it was in some kind of timer on a huge key pad and there were no instructions) so it was very warm in room. Also, thermostat keypad huge and very bright, very bright lights on actual air conditioner unit too so it was annoying bright in the room all night. This combination of the room being too hot and the bright LED lighting made it very hard to sleep which is too bad bc everything else was fantastic.

Exceptionally clean hotel.

Paid umbrella and sunbeds - 30-40 euro extra per day (!). Was just 10 euro cheaper than for people outside of the hotel... Also breakfast was with only few options - mediocre.

I'll be going back, there's no doubt.

It wasn't beach weather but the fact that the property is literally on the beach, allowed the sound of the waves and the view to truly please the senses. While I wasn't there specifically for work, I always work a bit wherever I am and it was great to do it on the balcony while enjoying the beach. The Staff was friendly and cordial, the hotel was, for me, the perfect size, not very big at all. I had a great meal at the restaurant and an impeccable view to boot. While the hotel doesn't have parking, or at the very least I didn't notice it, it mattered not, because I was able to park as close as possible right in front of it. Porto Stefano near by made for a great visit where I discovered what is now one of my very favorite restaurants anywhere and I have traveled the world.

In our room 216, it was a strange noise all the time, we could not find where it was from so we had to use the earplugs for night.

Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Located ON the beach and we didn’t have to pay for hotel loungers. A small rowing boat was also available to use that the kids loved. Beach food was extremely good and reasonably priced. Restaurant in hotel was excellent quality!!

Not on the bus route as it suggests so there is a 1km walk from the bus stop. This was difficult for my elderly mother but we rang hotel and the owner immediately came out to collect us. They also took us for free back to the station at the end. Do NOT get taxis unless you want to pay extortionate prices. This did mean getting out and about in the heat was difficult. The location was so lovely we made the most of the sea and beach

Einmalige Lage mit Meerblick und -anstoss.

Das Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick ist unglaublich schön. Den Sonnenuntergang inklusive. Die Terrasse ist vom Zimmer aus begehbar und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Alles sehr sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Nicht sehr charmant aber tipptopp. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Schade war bei unserem Schlafzimmer, dass die Betten in der dunklen Ecke des Zimmers platziert sind und somit keine Meersicht möglich ist.

Hôtel situé en bord de mer, avec joli restaurant de plage, mais nécessaire de prendre la voiture pour visiter les environs. Chambre grande et confortable, avec équipement complet et grande salle de bain. Bonne literie, joli balcon. Petit buffet petit-déjeuner, le restaurant de l'hôtel (L'Oste Dispensa) propose des plats magnifiques, mais obligatoire de réserver à l'avance.

Le prix minimum imposé au restaurant différencié selon qu'on réserve à l'intérieur ou sur la terrasse.

La vicinanza con la spiaggia, il bar sulla spiaggia e il ristorante squisito. Il personale gentilissimo e professionale.

Stanza piccola e arredo troppo minimal, solo una sedia e spazi di contenimento insufficienti. Le camere che affacciano sulla strada sono rumorosissime, notti insonni. La convenzione col ristorante assurda: si paga un minimo a persona(40 euro tavolo all'interno...60 nella terrazza sul mare!!!! anche se prendi solo un antipasto)

Direi che gli unici aspetti probabilmente migliorabili riguardano: - varietà di scelta nella colazione; - obbligo di prezzo minimo da spendere a persona, poiché, pur avendo apprezzato moltissimo la qualità del ristorante (complimenti allo chef e ai camerieri), l'ho trovato sconveniente (nel caso di specie lo abbiamo comunque tranquillamente superato, dovendo però ordinare più portate di quelle che avremmo voluto).

Posto incantevole, colazione sulla spiaggia ben fornita indimenticabile. Hotel pulito e personale molto attento alle esigenze. Ad ogni piano si trova un despenser di acqua, molto apprezzato. Spiaggia con lettini con materassino. Consiglio vivamente
