Excellent location to attend Formula 1 gran prix in Monza

The proprietor Angelo was so helpful and welcoming. Very nice breakfast and great pizza. We stayed there during the Formula 1 gran prix for 4 days. It was a perfect location. The bus was across the street, and it was a 5 minute ride to the city center, then the black line shuttles took us to the Autodromo for the race. We would definitely go back. Plus, it was only a 40-minute drive to Lake Como. We went there for a day.

They did not have an iron but that was ok.

What a mistake

Not very much. The wait staff in the restaurant were good and helpful

The moment I went into the hotel it knew i had made a mistake. The owner was too busy serving in the restaurant to greet me and do the registration. The room was small not a big issue. There was no hot water for 3 days. The food in the restaurant was very average. This was the most expensive hotel of an 8 week trip by far the worst experience. Yes it was the F1 weekend so I expected it to be more expensive but at least reasonable

Hotel very tired and condition was poor. Rooms were poor, bathroom stained and dirty looking, bed small and narrow ( I admit I booked a solo single room) no reception had to dial a number to get given key. host grumpy to say the least. Breakfast was stale pastry’s and everything else in plastic wrappers. No fresh food to speak of. If you want location in central Monza without paying a fortune and have a car to park then this is probably the best you can find. avoid if you can but if you book set expectations low!

Easy access to public transport and safe, free parking. Milan was easy to get to without driving by bus and train.

Pleasant

The location is decent, the rooms as well – clean and fairly comfortable, although not exceptional in any case. The price is a little high, for what the property provides.

Noone on the premises speaks English. That is obviously a problem, however of my own doing, probably – didn’t check the description carefully enough. We did get things sorted in the end, though, so good marks for that.

The owner of the place was incredibly unfriendly. In many years of staying in hotels, I’ve never seen such an unfriendly person. If you like to get treated like dirt this place is for you.

Cheap stay in an expensive little city.

The prices are pretty much ok for what you're getting. Monza is not a cheap city so if you want a cheap stay this is your place. The staff is really polite and kind.

The carpet in the bedroom was not the cleanest one and the mattress could be a bit more comfortable.

En syönyt aamiaista. Yksi syy on se, että hotellin henkilökunnassa ei ollut yhtään muun kuin italia osaajaa. Se on selkeä ja huomattava puute. Sijainti on hyvä.

Henkilökunnan kielitaidottomuus. Kun suomalainen matkustaa Italiaan, perusoletus ei ole, että hän osaa maan kieltä. Huoneessa ei ollut ainuttakaan juomalasia esim hampaiden pesuun tai jopa juomiseen.

La posizione e la disponibilità del proprietario. Struttura pulita e rapporto qualità prezzo. La reception non è sempre aperta quindi consiglio di mettersi d’accordo con il proprietario. Con me è stato molto disponibile a soddisfare le mie esigenze. Grazie

Die Lage wäre gut gewesen.

Bei der Reservation hat mir das Hotel die Check-In-Zeit um 16:00 bestätigt. Ich war pünktlich vor Ort, aber niemand war anwesend. Zwei Anrufe auf die relevanten Nummern wurden wohl erwidert, aber beide Male aufgehängt. Nach gut einer Stunde des Wartens habe ich ein anderes Hotel gebucht. Daraufhin wollte ich das Zimmer bei Mosca stornieren und hoffte auf Rückzahlung. Aber weit gefehlt. Es sei nicht ihre Schuld und so weiter. Leider konnte oder wollte auch booking.com nicht weiterhelfen.
