A lovely full English breakfast, I arrived later on in the day and was told by the manageress that if I wanted to I could bring in a takeaway to my room if I wanted it.
Everything was fine.

Large bedroom with plenty of seating. Helpful instructions on nearby places to eat and offering opportunity to bring takeaway meals back to eat in the lounge.

A warm welcome, great communication and a very comfortable bed - I slept well which is not always guaranteed when away from home! Breakfast was lovely too. I also was really happy that my room had a bath. The bathroom was very clean. I liked that there was parking too. Very close to Port Sunlight and the Lady Lever gallery.
The furniture (chair / sofa etc) in the room was a bit shabby and stained-looking, which was a slightly off putting first impression, marks on the wall etc - just surface stuff though. A throw and a lick of paint etc would have turned it around but it didn't really bother me that much as everything else was fine for my needs.

Pleasant stay, host was friendly and welcoming, room that I stayed in was a little dated and tired, but all clean and comfortable.
Some areas in need of a refresh. But this did not take away from the fact that it was clean and comfortable
