AH Carinthia Mallnitz - Carinthia Appartements

Wir haben unsere Radtour nach Triest in Mallnitz begonnen und auch wieder abgeschlossen. In den Tagen dazwischen durften wir unsere Autos bei AH Carinthia parken. Das ist sicher nicht selbstverständlich und war ein toller Service. Außerdem durften wir eine Kühltasche mit Lebensmitteln bei den freundlichen Quartiergebern bis zu unserer Rückreise abstellen. Auch das war sehr nett!

Wenn uns in dieser Unterkunft überhaupt etwas gefehlt hat, dann höchstens eine verschließbare Unterstellmöglichkeit für unsere Fahrräder. Das war hier vielleicht nicht perfekt. Allerdings haben wir uns um unsere Räder im Garten hinterm Haus auch keine Sorgen gemacht.

Wir waren zu Zweit, aber nicht als Paar unterwegs. Hatten zwei Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder mit zwei WCs. Das war Komfort! Der Host war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Very clean, with incredible attention to detail: all the towels were spotless, smelled amazing, and were neatly folded. There were cups for toothbrushes, and not a single speck of dust anywhere in the room. They even had brochures with information about local attractions. We found a tour through a mountain gorge thanks to one of them. We absolutely loved it! The owner was extremely friendly and polite. We ordered laundry service, and he personally took care of everything and brought us our clean clothes the next morning. As for the location, the place is surrounded by mountains, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The town itself is also very charming, and there’s a Billa grocery store nearby. Another big plus — the owner did NOT chase me in a Range Rover after I checked out, blocking a mountain road to punch me in the face :D (That’s exactly what a Turkish host at my next accommodation did after I told him about the moldy bedroom and the rotten towels full of holes.) Overall, everything was great. I highly recommend spending a night here — or even better, a couple of nights.

I honestly tried to find something to criticize so the review would feel more balanced, but I couldn’t find a single thing worth mentioning as a downside.
