The Zign Hotel Premium Villa

Been here a few times and it’s so relaxing. Staff are lovely

Apart from being right next to a building site and them working from 6am onwards the noise was a bit much with young children

room is very spacious, interior design is attractive. easy access to pool and breakfast facilities. we had a late lunch at the moods restaurant. overpriced but food was tasty and service attentive. bathroom includes toothbrush kit, shower gel/shampoo, lotion, cotton buds, hair dryer (looks old but still works). there's a rain shower and bathtub. generally clean, but sofa had some stains, found a few dead bugs in the room. if you want to use the bathtub, make sure to bring or buy cleaning agents. I used wipes and saw brown residue on the wipes.... the zign robes and slippers were very comfy! sandals are also provided to walk to the pool or around the property.

Reception's english is not good, difficult to communicate verbally. And not willing to help/not sensitive to traveller's needs. Also, based on my experience, the premium level of the accommodation does not match the premium price. breakfast did not have too much variety. typical fruit, bread, fresh made eggs, noodles. Need to wait for coffee as there is only one person at the coffee station. toilet paper was not replenished. bathroom didn't have many spots to hang clothes or towels outside the shower. no soundproofing, easy to hear noises from outdoors. also be sure to check the sliding windows near the door, ours was unlocked. you may need to move the water kettle to a different power outlet unless you don't mind unplugging the wifi router. the hotel is located in north pattaya, very far from central area/jomtien beach. be patient for a driver if you want to use Grab taxi app (some drivers are unwilling to go to this area unless they are already nearby).
