Quiet, cosy, and worth every penny.

Everything about this place was just lovely from the moment I arrived. The smiling gentleman that checked me in was sure to give me all the info I needed with breakfast times and how it works, which I found very helpful even for just one night's stay. The room was small and cosy, but in a good way, and any basics one might need are in the room. And, let me say, the breakfast is worth waking up for. Everything was delicious, especially the sausage. S rank, no notes. 🥰

Disappointing but staff really nice.

We booked two rooms in one room dressing table drawer was broken and held up by a chair. Parking was questionable, not adequate for number of guests. Both nights we had to park along the road. Hotel in need of tlc and updating. Staff were lovely, but night staff miserable. Breakfast was good.

Fairly basic hotel, but clean and friendly & nice breakfast.

Was ok. It was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t too bad at all.

Hotel felt rather ‘Spartan’ and lacking creature comforts and and style. The heating didn’t work in the first room so we had to be transferred.

Great location for Shipley town centre and surrounding area. Breakfast was very good

shower didnt really warm up, water would have run out of the door onto the room carpet had we not used a towel to stop it. Soft furnishings were very tired/dirty and room/bathroom was a bit dusty

Great stay

Our stay at the hotel was everything we could ask for. Staff were lovely ..the room was clean and the facilities were brilliant and in a quiet location .I was impressed...it was a very pleasant stay. Extremely good value for money and the breakfast was great. Special shout out to the staff at breakfast. They were very efficient and friendly. We will certainly stay with U again .

Another lovely stay

Great place to stay and so handy for Bradford City of Culture, but also Salts Mill, world heritage site) and the Turner art exhibition etc. And the staff at Abbey Lodge are so friendly and kind. Just a great place to stay.

Hotel parking is limited at the rear of the property and you double park so you could be blocked in or block some else in if you’re out and not using your car. Packet croissants cheapen the breakfast as does lower quality bread otherwise 10/10

Very diasppointing stay at the Abbey Lodge Hotel

The bed was comfortable and room have large modern smart TV. The location of the hotel is in a walking distance to Saltaire village.

We had to ask for a room swap as the first room we were given smelt extremely strongly of cigarette smoke. Both rooms we were given were basement level, meaning that you could also smell the dampness and sewage system. The bathroom also had a spider living in it. Breakfast was basic, with very limited options available. The tables and chairs were dirty and smelled. Parking is advertised as free for guests with no need of pre-booking, but it's actually with first come first basis and there is not enough space for all guests. Those who don't get a parking space will have to park on the road, where it's 2 hours only stay maximum during the week.

When we arrived to check in we were greeted with a lovely man on reception who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely and extremley clean with everything we needed for our short stay. Free parking was available. The breakfast was spot on and all the staff were lovely and helpful. I would highly recceomend this hotel and will definatley be using in the future.

We wanted a quiet, restful, comfortable overnight stop over with a good breakfast whilst en route from Scotland.....that's exactly what we got plus the bonus of a visit to Saltaire and Salt Mill very close by.

Short break to see family

Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. Reception very easy and checked straight in, no delay. The beds were very nice, room spacious and shower very good. The breakfast was brilliant

Room had all we needed including iron and ironing board. Plenty clothes hangers and tea and coffee making facilities. We were able to check in early as our room was ready. Lovely local produce for breakfast. All staff helpful. Ideal location for Salts Mill. Had parking.

Room was a bit small but there was everything we needed for a short stay. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great, definitely above average. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Garden in front of the hotel is attractive and well cared for.

There was parking behind the hotel. Parking wasn’t easy due to the residents parked cars, and made worse by someone inconsiderate parking their huge black van/people carrier so close that we couldn’t even open the door to our car (and we have a disabled badge). It was only possible to turn in one direction to exit our space due to the size and position of the black vehicle.
