Old fashioned elegance - a peaceful place to stay.

Hotel is located up a steep hill about 1km from town centre. Whilst this ensures some lovely views, it is quite a haul when carrying one's luggage! It was October when we went and very quiet at the hotel even though Soriano itself was busy enjoying the chestnut festival. Much of the hotel complex had shut down, meaning it was more of a guesthouse than the resort that the photos suggested. The restaurant was only open for breakfast. The staff were very attentive even though it was a buffet style meal, obviously used to serving evening meals in high season. Our room was very comfy, though it was a double bed, not the twin that we had booked. (Didn't matter for us.)

Although we had a balcony, we couldn't sit out in the evening as various insects took the opportunity to come indoors! We shooed most out, but the hotel manager was called to come and remove the noisiest - a cicada - we were not familiar with them - we'll know next time!

I would also like a better savoury offering at breakfast. Only ready-made cheese and industrial ham. However, the exceptional desserts make up for this shortcoming.

we were captivated by the view that we had from our balcony overlooking Soriano nel Camino. The whole resort was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even though it was for only 1 night. We have travelled to Soriano nel Camino before, and if we visit there again, we will undoubtedly stay here again.

The panoramic view from the room was absolutely amazing and it was super nice with the balcony for the room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice in size.

You feel at home Family staff. Nice mood, very good food and 600 meters altitude gives you nice fresh air. Incredible walks at faggeto del cimino...UNESCO site. You walk through paths in the forest with 20meter high trees. Fantastic Perfect for family and kids.

La camera non si chiudeva dall’interno (il meccanismo girevole era bloccato) e ce ne siamo accorti solo una volta rientrati la notte, ma dovendo stare una notte sola non abbiamo detto nulla. Il phon ha smesso di funzionare per un po’, ma poi si è riacceso

Bellissima struttura, ottima posizione, personale TOP

Con la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato presso "La Bastia" dall'8 al 10 Ottobre 2025 e devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta. Una bellissima e grande struttura in mezzo al verde ma comoda per visitare Viterbo, Tarquinia e le terme. La camera familiare era confortevole e silenziosa e la colazione molto buona. La differenza però la fa il personale veramente cortese e disponibile. Ci siamo interfacciati maggiormente con i due ragazzi, fratello e sorella, che nonostante la giovane età sanno gestire in maniera impeccabile e con grande impegno ed esperienza la struttura. Ce ne fossero di ragazzi così!! Complimenti a tutti e grazie di tutto!

Posizione e contesto della struttura

Struttura molto bella esternamente. Purtroppo gli interni, quindi la camera, sono un po' datati. Suggerisco di apportare delle semplici migliorie come, ad esempio, le presi della corrente vicino i comodini (nella mia stanza era presente una sola presa vicino la scrivania quindi difronte i piedi del letto: inconcepibile). Anche la colazione non all'altezza della struttura. Basta, come detto, semplici modifiche per essere una struttura top.

Een ouder hotel met dus ook een grote mooie kamer met een groot terras en een fantastisch groen zicht op het stadje Soliano en de Cimini berg. Het zwembad in de mooie rustige tuin sprak ons ook heel erg aan. Het is een familiebedrijf waar elk zijn verantwoordelijkheid neemt en het personeel met Antonio op kop zijn zooooo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De lokatie is interessant om Bomarzo, Montefiascone, Bagno Regio, Parco delle Cascate Di Chia,Villa Lante, palazzo Frascati, Viterbo te bezoeken.

Relax e gentilezza in un borgo fuori dal tempo.

Ottima struttura, tenuta molto bene, ben pulita e mantenuta. Posizione decentrata ma suggestiva, in cima ad un monte da cui si domina una bellissima vallata con visuale spettacolare. Personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo anche oltre l'orario prefissato. Ottima e abbondante la colazione e la proposta offerta dal ristorante interno alla struttura. Piscina di dimensioni contenute circondata da un bellissimo prato da cui si gode un'ottima vista. Location tranquilla e rilassante. Ottima esperienza.

La struttura dentro stile anni 80, decisamente da rinnovare un po’ tutto!! La colazione deludente: torta di mele e ciambella di due giorni fa e non è proprio il massimo! Il personale invece è molto gentile.

Il cagnolino e il cameriere al mattino che ci ha servito la colazione!

BRUTTA ESPERIENZA! Non saprei da dove cominciare, proviamo così: - all'arrivo non si comprende dove recarsi, le insegne sono sia a destra che a sinistra della strada, per cui si resta con la macchina in salita nei pressi di un curva; - non c'è modo di conoscere le proposte del menù dell'albergo a meno ché non sia tu ad insistere per visionare il menù (che comunque sconsiglio, pasti anni '80) - colazione scarsa e caffè del cappuccino bruciato; - wi fi inutilizzabile; - sorvolo sulla pulizia delle tende (che per altro non sono coprenti la luce solare del mattino). E tutto questo è nulla se si pensa che NON FUNZIONAVA L'ARIA CONDIZIONATA, cosa che comprensibilmente può capitare, ma è buona norma proporre delle soluzioni.....OVVIAMENTE NON PERVENUTE! Come se non bastasse il frigo bar era vuoto e spento e a nessuno è venuto in mente di chiederci se avessimo avuto bisogno almeno di acqua fresca (per intenderci al mattino in camera c'erano 28 gradi)!!! Al termine del soggiorno che fortunatamente è stato solo per una notte nessuno si è degnato di chiederci se fosse andato tutto bene e, al momento del pagamento manco a dirlo nessuno sconto per il disagio causato!!!!!!! Resort sta per risuscita nonché muori e puoi risuscita se riesci. Non ho altre spiegazione sulla scelta di dichiararlo resort, una piccola piscina esterna non è certo un spa e di rilassante non ha nulla!!

Prima colazione tutto sommato sufficiente, sarebbe gradito avere maggiori salati.. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, anche il bagno, Finalmente stanze dove non ci sono problemi di spazio. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

Aggiungerei del "salato" a colazione. In generale è migliorabile, ma comunque sufficiente.

Camera rumorosa, sopra ingresso e la mattina molto rumore. In più una autoclave attaccava e staccava ogni poco. Nell'armadio non era presente nemmeno una gruccia. Colazione fino alle 10.00 ma già alle 9.30 non c'ra più nulla

Una vacanza nel relax

La camera era molto spaziosa con terrazzo e vista panoramica da mozzafiato. Il bagno ben arredato con doccia ben funzionante. È uno dei pochi hotel in cui sono stata, dove il servizio wi-fi e la TV funzionano davvero.

La colazione poteva essere più ricca, il buffet non offre molta scelta. Le crostate non sono niente di particolare. In compenso il personale è molto gentile ed accogliente.
