    Chaos during breakfast. I guess the Kitchen is under staffed. I shared the feedback with the Restaurant Manager. Although the service staff were working really hard but I guess the Kitchen is under staffed. The food / fruits trays were empty and not replnished for a very long time. I guess my experience was not a one off experience but looked like a regular problem.

    After paying hefty amount of 51k for 3 nights, All I can say this is sheer wastage of money. 3 days same limited worst menu of breakfast and then you get cold food. Entire staff is just running from from restaurant to kitchen looks some race is going on but where they are running not aware, looks no planning and a basic meeting is not done by the manager or chef how to manage the crowd, this is classic example of no onus, but hotel owner is happy as he is minting money on the name of brand ITC and ITC is happy as it is their one of the main hotel which is giving them good revenue in terms of royalty. Eve Tea review: One snack ( that too it is your luck if you get it) because their is huge que as if we are standing in some Langar where we might be fortunate to have snack. Tea coffee as usual will take huge time and them it is super cold as it compliment the weather of Ooty. After long wait for one snack their is sudden announcement we are closing tea and coffee… if you don’t have anything to serve or your pocket doesn’t allow do’nt do all this acting if being so generous… This was classic complimentary Tea and coffee time @ restaurant between 5-6 pm everyday. Now the final icing on cake of ie lovely dinner. No salads ( pr pare your own salad) no change in vegetable and dal… Again a long wait for basic roti and naan, and they arrive again cold…. Dear Hotel Owner/ ITC, Pl wake up and look what value of money customer is getting from your esteemed property. Learn from your own colleagues ie ITC Mysore ( I stayed there for 3 days ie 1-3 rd June before arriving at your superb property with great facilities…. Do some homework and get things in order if you guys are really interested. Net net my vacation to Ooty was spoiled and entire credit goes to Fortune Ooty member of ITC group. Thank you for lovely stay and your hospitality during our stay.

    Regretful is the word that comes to mind. I had stayed in this very hotel 14 years ago. Came back but was utterly disappointed. Overlooked. You have to wait for 20 minutes or more for your turn to get space for breakfast !! Even if you get that there is a railway platform type rush for plates and food because of the space. Rooms are very small and is not for a family. Everything is ultra expensive. Service is very slow Now there are a number of great options in Ooty, this is not recommended.
