A welcoming and comfortable stay

The location is excellent. The staff, Mohammed, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He explain to us how to move around Paris and that helped us make the most of our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet.

I like it all, even the very small lift.

Its a nice place I enjoyed my stay but felt the hotel needs a bit spent on upgrading facilities.

The room was pretty good and a decent size and had a nice shower. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. Location was excellent and very easy to get around. You can walk to Gard De Nord station in 10 minutes or the La Fayette store in about 20 minutes. Plenty places to eat and its a cracking area. There is also a Basic Fit gym near by if you want to work out. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel entrance could be better - the carpets look a bit shabby. Also the breakfast bar is not very inspiring and could do with more selection and decent size plates. The lock for my room was very stiff and hard to open - could do with an upgrade to a modern card lock system. Was surprised they are still using old fashioned keys for the rooms.

Value for money and a handy location as long as you are prepared to do some walking

10mins walk from the metro, 20mins walk to hop in hop off bus. 20min walk to moulin rouge. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and very friendly.

Good location and room, but better options are probably available

Location for exploring Montmartre is excellent. The room had a balcony with seating that was very charming. Staff was a bit cold and unfriendly, but not to the point of rudeness. One clerk tried to upsell transportation to the airport via a private taxi via a call from his phone and advised us that the train was “complicated.” It’s not. The train is easy and cost a few euros vs. the €60+ the hotel clerk offered.

The café at the corner is not very nice and attracts a loud, unruly crowd.

Please stay away, Unfrienly, outdated place requiring deep cleaning.

Pleace need deep cleaning. Reception staff did not spoke a word in english. I paid for the breakfast and once i come on the morning (hour before closing time) nothing left, even not bread. Again person at receprion did not understand a word so i left hungry. Housekeeping do not knok to the door just enter,

the most horrific hotel experience of my life

1. hotel staff left us outside the door for 7 minutes saying the hotel closed and to sleep on the street as i was going on he “jokingly” hit my back twice as i was coming in, after i escalated matters he said they apologized and said he was joking and did not mean it, we are tourists who do not even understand french. 2. got woken up at 6 in the MORNING by a crazy lady knocking on our door and trying to get in, i open the door for her startled, shes half naked in her underwear almost forcing herself in because she wants to go in and use my bathroom, when i called the reception to check the cameras to see who this person is, they said they needed a manager to check that and just completely ignored me horrible security 3. dentures just casually in the hotel entrance in front of the elevator 4. tint little insects unsure if theyre bed bugs i have videos of them on the bed moving 5. lastly, any decent hotel or booking platform would 100% refund me i had the most horrible traumatic experience of my life we could not even sleep the other nights because of how we were woken up on the first night, no refund no nothing they asked me to right a review, shame on booking.com and the hotel for this horrible service, i have booked my entire europe trip with booking.com almost 6 accomidations other than what i have booked before, a refund is more than fair, i got nothing but leave a review so here is my review that i hope everyone sees, this trip will be the last time me my family members or friends will use this platform to book anything

Lovely stay

The location is just perfect, close to the station, and the neighborhood is something straight out of a french movie. The view of the room was also breathtaking, and the staff was kind and helpful.

Well, it is an old building, and some things really do need reparing or just need to be replaced (The AC doesn't work, shower was leaking to the bathroom floor).

Booked at the VERY last minute as our Airbnb cancelled whilst we were on the Eurostar coming to Paris! Staff were really helpful, accommodating our request to stay an extra 2 nights, and also storing our folding bikes for us. Location is good in the 9th Arr - easy walking distance to the Louvre, the river and many of Paris' tourist locations. Lots of period features in the room - ornate coving and marble fireplace. Beds are really comfy and aircon was very welcome in the heat. Decor is perhaps a little tired in places but clean and tidy nevertheless. Overall a great base for exploring Paris.

i stayed in this property 5 years ago and it’s still as good. staff were very accommodating and the room was very decent and clean. hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants / cafes which was very convenient. the hotel was able to accommodate me in a request to store my luggage for few hours which was very helpful. Overall this was a very comfortable stay and I’d definitely be booking again next time I’m in Paris!

Checking in in the early hours (late, scheduled arrival by train from Modena)

We ordered breakfast, which was very good. The night porter told us to pay 'Madame', who was in charge of breakfast, which we did. However, when we came to check out, the new person on Reception questioned whether or not we had paid for breakfast and doubted that we had. We insisted that we had paid, so he checked with 'Madame', who verified that this was the case. 'Monsieur' then proceeded to give 'Madame' a dressing-down in front of us, which was frankly embarrassing, uncalled-for and totally inappropriate. I made a point of going round to the kitchen to thank 'Madame' for a very nice breakfast, but we were left with a nasty taste in the mouth in terms of staff relationships.

Upon arrival, we went in the room and the room was not clean from the last occupants. The lady who served breakfast was rude, no english at all. Overall, wouldn't come back again, it deserves 2 stars. Staff was rude and not welcoming at all.

The location !

The fact our room wasn’t cleaned upon arrival even though we had to wait for check in. We waited for check in (fair enough) but then came into a dirty used room. They did clean promptly though. Also we were not informed about the rule to leave the key at reception upon leaving. We were not told when we checked in (yes I know there was a sign on desk but unless it was pointed out to us we did not notice it). Then we tried leaving one evening and the receptionist made a point (a little rude we found) that there are ‘signs everywhere’ telling us this fact. In the elavtor, on the door and on the desk. We tried pointing out we never used the elavtor, and there was in fact no sign on the door, and we were never informed of this rule. He did however let us leave with our key, as we felt more comfortable having it with us.
