We loved our stay here a lovely hotel in a stunning location with spectacular views across the bay. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean overlooking the pool with bay views. A large pool with plenty of loungers was great to relax by after a busy time exploring the area. Salvador Dali’s house is literally a minute walk away and the beautiful town by the coast with lots of restaurant choices is walkable about 15-20mins if you don’t mind some steep inclines which we didn’t find a problem. A special shout out to the staff who went over and above to help especially as we were waiting on a package which went awol. There is also a very good beach bar close by which serves good food. I wouldn’t hesitate to return but recommend a car to explore around as the area is quite remote about 30min drive to Roses through scenic mountain roads.

I would have scored the hotel a 10 but the food let it down. Breakfast was pretty good with a good selection and they also served basic tapas however we had an evening meal which can only be described as a supermarket ready meal microwaved or boil in the bag very poor quality. Better to omit this service than let the hotel down . A kettle in the room would also be useful.

The staff were great.

Location. It was a strenuous 15 minute hike up and down hilly roads to get to town and not even a general store nearby to get water. There was no beach at all. When I fell on the property and twisted my ankle, it was impossible to go into Cadaques. Luckily the staff drove me there and back. All in all I would have preferred a hotel in town for convenience.
