Rooms were very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Only reason I am not giving a five star is because we had and issue with the bathroom but they moved us into another room so it was fine.

Just the fact that I nearly got scalded because the both tps in the bathroom were giving out boiling hot water.

Booking was very straight forward with excellent communication. All staff very helpful and pleasant. Room very comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable bed and all spotless. I had a light evening meal and a cooked breakfast both were excellent. Dining area spotlessly clean and buffet area well maintained. Free Wi-Fi and good large LCD TV. My room was very quiet with no outside traffic noise. Excellent value! Large free car park.

Hard to find fault really! It would be ideal if a power point or USB charging point had been available within reach of the bed.

Warm clean rooms, well.appointed, excellent friendly staff and good breakfast with plenty of choice. There were workmen around but we're very unobtrusive and respectful.

Ideal location and a great price. Staff very friendly.

Some of it is looking a bit dated now, carpet in the room, and the floor creaks lots on the ground floor and in the room we had. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade too, get rid of the beige baths and put in better showers. Otherwise, facilities are generally good. Breakfast a little pricy, but very tasty, especially the scrambled eggs and the raspberry filled croissants! Breakfast staff were very friendly and interactive.

This is our 3rd year staying at the Link Hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and the staffs were friendly. Ideal location for our stay as it's near the town centre and Loughborough university.

bed was huge and very comfortable as was the room. Staff very friendly and professional.

The food menu wasn't full because it was still the holiday period, but that was a minor problem.

Soundproofing not great. I got woken several times by people running/pounding up & down the corridor outside!

No serving of food in restaurant until 8pm due to school parties. Not able to shower for work as ONLY piping HOT Water - no cold

Very very noisy. At 2ooam people still shouting and staggering out side are room. We know Saturdays are busy but there was no security to stop bad behaviour. The buffet breakfast was very good in variety but mostly cold.

No sockets near beds - pretty big flaw nowadays Tap in bathroom would only give us hot water. Hot or even hotter. This was in the night time. Next morning it seemed to be ok again. Shower wasn't that powerful

Lights didn't work central heating was poor, cold water didn't work so we couldn't take showers all in all a disaster.

The 1st room given had a water leak or some sort which made the carpet wet, so they gave us another room and it was o.k.

The hotel was big and well maintained. The room was clean and had everything I needed for my overnight stay. All of the staff were very kind and helpful, especially Chantelle, who resolved an issue for me after I had checked out.

Unfortunately, a fire alarm went off in the evening, though this didn't go on. It somehow tripped the boiler and as a result there was no hot water in the morning. I am sure this isn't common, but did affect my stay.

My room was very clean and well equipped, my bed was very comfortable. I had neglected to ask for a disabled room, so it was initially booked for upstairs but the lovely lady on reception managed to move me to a downstairs room. She also helped me with the location of a socket for my CPAP machine and was able to lend me a phone charging cable for my mobile as I have to monitor my blood sugar at all timed and I had left my cable at home. The whole hotel was bright, airy and clean and well set out with vending machines for snacks etc. late at night. The lounge was comfortable and the breakfast room was clean and well laid out. The Breakfast was a full english buffet and had everything you could possibly want for a good nourishing meal with lots of choice and was well stocked. The staff were lovely and very helpful and professional. The large car park had disabled spaces right near the entrance and the hotel is located next to a Harvester restaurant for a very nice evening meal.

The only problem I had was finding the hotel as I put the address into my Garmin satnav and it took me to a housing estate behind the hotel and not knowing the area it took sometime to find it.

It was a wonderful experience staying in this hotel in Loughborough. Very family-friendly and convenient.

A bit old and some minor maintenance needed. Some renovations are ongoing. 👍

There was nothing of note that the hotel excelled in, everything was either the bare minimum for a hotel or worse than you'd expect particularly at this price point.

There was no one at the desk when we looked to check in and by the time someone arrived the queue was 4 people deep. The hotel was overrun with what must have been close to 100 children, who were running around the corridors, knocking on doors and slamming doors. It went on until late at night and began again early in the morning. Had I known a schools worth of children would have been staying at the hotel I would have booked elsewhere, but I was not given the courtesy of foreknowledge prior to this. The room was dated and smelled musty, and the floorboards outside the room were noisy.

There were stains on the bedding which looked like wax & lipstick. Not very nice near your head. We had to turn the bedding around. Breakfast needed filling up in most areas & was done quite slowly.

Room was very big, bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly.

No noise isolation, students running and screaming at night and could not sleep. Buffet breakfast is very basic for the price. The carpets were stained and my bedsheets was dirty. Staff was attentive and changed it immediately upon request at last. The bed was two singles advertised as a double. Close to uni, but It was a bit far from the main campus.

There was a really long walk from the front desk to my room - an extra back staircase would have been brilliant, especially as I was basically back where I started by the end.
