Rooms were particularly comfortable and dare I say "Lux". reception were very willing to assist. You were able to order off the day menu from any spot on the grounds- we loved getting a cocktail on the lounge out on the lawn overlooking Florence. we took the bus up to Fiesol (bus stop 7 is out the front of the Hotel)
We found the Hotel was a great way to slow down in comort after a busy holiday
after a couple of days the menu was limited

Absolutely loved this hotel, Fiesole is such a beautiful place and to be so close to Florence is amazing. The staff were so kind, especially Neri who recommended some restaurants and was always happy to help us when we went to reception. The shuttle bus was a fantastic service. We just loved our trip

This is wonderful boutique hotel, located a short drive above Florence. We chose it for the view of Florence and proximity (walking distance) to the Etruscan and Roman ruins and museum, but didn’t appreciate until our arrival what a gem we had discovered. The décor is elegant but not fussy, and the rooms were comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the small bar but soon learned the same excellent server was happy to bring orders to the sofas on the veranda that overlooks Florence. Every staff member we encountered was dedicated to making sure we had a great stay. One day it started to rain while we were on the veranda. One staff member came right away to close the curtains of the canopy and two more brought us umbrellas. The breakfast was very good, set up for both continental and American tastes. Even so, our servers were eager to see if there was anything else we wanted. We dined in the very good Bistro restaurant one night and at Serrae another. As a Michelin star restaurant, it deserves a separate review. But here I will say both the food and service were exceptional. How often can you enjoy a gourmet meal and then head to your room instead of taking a taxi or driving?
We try not to repeat visits, but may have to make an exception.
