City Home Budapest

Stayed in a one-bedroom apartment while attending a conference at the Corinthia, and the location was simply superb - lliterally 10 steps from the hotel's back entrance! The staff were absolutely wonderful, incredibly helpful and accommodating to every request. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The neighbourhood is lively, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and great places to explore Budapest on foot. Everything was five-star for me. Would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

No real complaints at all. The only minor issue was that the portable AC had been removed for the onset of winter. However, the staff were so kind and promptly provided a stand fan, which did the job perfectly in Budapest's weather. A day later, the temperature magically dropped, and out came the jackets!

Room with plenty of space and a kitchen unit to one side. We walked into the city centre a few times, but also used the bus to get to the citadel. Breakfast was extensive and good. The breakfast room was a little cramped which made access to some of the counter difficult. We stayed for two nights and it certainly worked for us.

The bathroom was rather smelly, but having said that most of the city had whiffs of sewer presumably due to the long spell of hot weather before we arrived. Definitely best to keep the bathroom door closed at night, and we left the extractor fan running during the day. Also ran all the taps to make sure all the traps were flushed through and filled. The room decoration was quite dated, and as red as shown in the pictures in the listing.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely lovely, kind, and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. The location was amazing, with easy access to public transport, making it so convenient for exploring Budapest. The facilities were unreal, and the breakfast was definitely a highlight! There were so many delicious options to choose from, with something for everyone. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest and would happily stay here again if I get the chance to return. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

Location, price, size of the room, kitchen in the room, breakfast.

Lack of 24/7 reception, early closure of the reception, room not quite clean. But the worst thing is the air conditioner - it is very noisy and loud, like industrial equipment. So, if you are staying in hot summer time, better look for another option.
