    We had a nice stay at Hotel Djerba Orient. It’s just a short walk from the beach and has a lovely little pool area that we often had all to ourselves, since most guests head to the beach during the day. The outdoor space is definitely one of the highlights — peaceful, sunny, and well maintained. The staff were service-minded and polite throughout our stay. Yes, the hotel is quite old and could do with renovations, especially indoors. But if you don’t mind the wear and tear, it’s a great value for the price. Tip: For those who want to upgrade slightly, book room 26. It’s still old and worn, but has had a few updates and feels a little nicer than some of the others

    Our recent stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. While the location was decent, the overall experience fell short in several areas. The value for money was subpar, as we didn't feel we received adequate amenities and services for what we paid. The cleanliness of the property left much to be desired, and the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. The facilities were also lacking, with limited parking and a lack of shopping options nearby. Additionally, the breakfast provided was underwhelming. The only positive aspect was the availability of hot water. Overall, we wouldn't recommend this hotel based on our experience.
