The beds were not comfortable for the paid price, bathroom was tiny and we were on top of kitchen which brought smells from it.

Five Star details - in the country.

Every small detail was accounted and shown - from the rooms to the main building. I loved my stay here and would stay again for a special occasion.

It was expensive, but once in the property, would could see why. The furnishings were high end and the bed very comfortable. We had a small courtyard, which was lovely but abit overgrown.

Shower was cold.!! No spoon in the room had to leave the room and walk over to reception before even having a coffee in the morning which wasn’t ideal and not part of what I had planned.! Also bathroom tap probably let out more water than what the shower did.!

ET GO HOME - Green Light all set for no sleep

It was extremely relaxing place on all aspects - except when it came to the night

Our room was number 21 and was kept away by the Green emergency light - that lit up the whole room, no blind on velux either so as soon as day light came it was bright. I understand you have to have emergency lighting but that was beyond ridiculous not even eye masks. When your working you need your sleep - my partner went to find some one after the hours of 11 - could I been by 11/30 they have cctv to look back on to see if we could move rooms but no one about. Spoke to the owner the next day that dosnt take kindly to you giving feed back a case of take your money bye!!! That is a real shame, because the food the staff the location, the attention to detail is wonderful. I’m sure if we had been in another room then I would of scored a 10 I am epileptic so this green light caused me a huge problem. I wasn’t after a refund neither did I ask! But be careful as the owner dosnt take to criticism or feedback if there is a negative- her words “never had this before” “I was on site, basically calling my partner a liar” my answer check your cctv your see he came to reception and also I have the video showing the place lit up like a screen from ET I was hugely disappointed by her response, and this is a completely honest review. Sleep is important factor to your stay . So no I wouldn’t recommend because of her awful negative attitude on feedback But I will say it’s a beautiful place and food quality is excellent and staff were lovely and the place extremely clean

A country escape with exceptional customer service

Tyn Ross Country House was a lovely surprise. The house, its grounds and surrounding area were vey peaceful and picturesque. It was well appointed and had a lovely conservatory plus outdoor seating for a pre dinner drink and canapés. The restaurant was exceptional we could not fault the quality of the food and the service . We’d recommend this country house to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in a quiet location.

We found the bed to be a little uncomfortable on one side as it dipped in the middle and had trouble with the temperature of the water in the bathroom as there appeared to be no cold water what so ever - not great for normal skin and clearly way too hot for anyone with older or sensitive skin, even the hand basin taps were both hot. Apart from the bed and hot water we were very happy with our experience.

Beautiful room, professional staff, lovely location.

Staff - Polite/ Excellent Customer Service. Room upgrade to a lovely, spacious room overlooking the courtyard, the room was spotless and well presented. Breakfast was excellent, hot, freshly made with plenty of options. Small things like fresh milk to take to your room for hot drinks go that extra mile. Plenty of car park space.

Very comfortable & welcoming team, very clean, excellent room overlooking the gardens, great Breakfast & Dinner, with a nice touch to to meet in the conservatory for pre-meal drink & ‘hor d’oeuvres’ very good selection of drink options and reasonably price too, for us it was ideal as it was fairly close to Llanberis as we were climbing Snowdon. Would I stay again, most definitely if I was in that area.

Lovely hotel in a great location with staff that care and make the stay as good as can be.

The staff at the hotel were very kind and genuine. I was doing the UTS trail run and mentioned that I wouldn't be able to make breakfast so they made a backed breakfast for me and all the other runners. This was so helpful. They also gave us a room with a big bath that was a real bonus at the end of a long hard day.
