Good location. The room had everything I needed for my stay. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Staff friendly.

The only thing I didn’t really like was when I first arrived the place smelt of dogs and so did my room. I have had a dog myself in the past! But the smell was a bit unwelcoming at first. Once I opened my window it was fine after a few hours. Not sure if an iron and board was available? In the end I didn’t need one.

The bed was big and very comfortable. The shower was roomy and powerful. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Lots of natural light. Free parking. Sharon and Alistair are great and very welcoming.

Found a hair stuck to the soap packaging, floor was creaky but I know that can't be helped. Shower curtain kept getting stuck to me whilst I was showering. The side tables and dresser were sticky, the remote control was actually stuck to it and the control was dirty. Couldn't smoke on the balcony which I found odd as this was the reason apart from the bigger bed why I booked the room, this wasn't stated when I booked so that was disappointing. Balcony window was very dirty. Breakfast is only between 8-9am and we had to choose as soon as we checked in and not in the morning so felt rushed. I also thought it would be cooked to order. We did decide not to have breakfast as didn't wake up early enough to be told that because we didn't arrive they had to throw our food away which I think is such a waste, I did feel bad but I genuinely thought they wouldn't cook it until we turned up.
