Wonderful. Gem of a hotel with friendly staff and beautiful views.

Very clean, room refreshed very well daily. The pools (4) were great, including an indoor pool so even the rain didn't stop play. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fab. Restaurant was perfectly positioned for a wonderful view, with choice of outdoor or indoor tables.

Minor thing and would not stop us going back as our holiday was wonderful at the hotel, but although there is a kettle in the room, there are no cups/spoons/milk/tea/coffee. We were able to ask for tea bags and the hotel kindly obliged, but without cups or the rest we gave up in the end as it was too much hassle. For tea drinkers (as are many from the UK), tea facilities in the room would have been welcome.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel Galvani! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. The hotel is beautifully situated right by Lake Garda, offering stunning views that we enjoyed every single day. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The wellness area, including the outdoor pool, was a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the nearby towns and trails. Breakfast was a highlight – fresh, varied, and served with a smile. The selection included delicious local cheeses, fruit, pastries, and great coffee. We also appreciated the convenient location – just a short walk from the charming town and a great base for day trips around the lake. Overall, Hotel Galvani exceeded our expectations. It's a family-run hotel that clearly takes pride in every detail, creating a relaxing and memorable experience for guests. We can’t wait to return!

Nice room, great view, confortable bed, free parking, really great staff, very helpful and nice. The new pool area offers an awesome view of the lake, we didn’t have the posibility to try it out since we stayed for just one night, but the view from the pool was excelent.

Has a “Seaside Hotel” feel to it, nothing to make it special for being on lake Garda, might be because the lake gives you a sea/ocean vibe. Nothing else really bad about it.

Good

The junior suite was on the first floor and did have a good view of the lake. Breakfast was very good although coffee wasn't the best. They had free bikes to use (but no helmets) which made it really easy to travel as we didn't have a car. The lake was across the road from the hotel which was good for swimming with beach umbrellas and loungers to borrow which helped on a hot pebble beach. The swimming pool was clean if a little small. Room was very modern and had a fantastic shower

The hotel really was clean and modern however it lacked simple things like coffee/tea/coffee cups for the kettle that was in the room. Unlike other hotels we stayed in there was no special surprise glass/bottle of champagne (it was our honeymoon) which would have been a nice touch. The junior suites were on the first floor and did have a view but were overlooking a busy road which made it noisy and we think a smaller room would have been better in both position and value. The staff were friendly but weren't able to help with information about buses and other tourist info. There was also a surprise city tax at the end of our stay which was not advertised on the site or mentioned in our reservation! Overall it was a nice stay but probably better for a family holiday rather than a romantic stay

Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sauber.

Bedingungspersonal im Restaurant war unfreundlich. Die Lage an der Seestrasse ist nicht so optimal. Die Liegen darf man zwar zum Strand mitnehmen, dort findet man leider keinen Platz. Aktuell ist auch eine Baustelle direkt am Hotel.

Piacevole soggiorno sul lago

Hotel Galvani con vista, comodo per visitare tutto il lago! Camera pulita, con balcone vista lago dove poter ammirare bellissimi tramonti. Staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile e sorridente...Ottimi consigli su cosa visitare e dove cenare per assaggiare le specialità locali!!!! Ci siamo sentiti come a casa già dal primo giorno. Ottima la colazione sia dolce che salata, noi abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente i pancake e le uova strapazzate, ma abbiamo soggiornato per 6 notti e abbiamo assaggiato un po' di tutto! Dovevamo fermarci per tre notti ma alla fine abbiamo prolungato il nostro soggiorno...e quando siamo andati via abbiamo ringraziato soprattutto il signore e la signora che servivano la colazione e il direttore dell'albergo :tre persone che ci sono rimaste nel cuore per la loro simpatia, gentilezza e cordialità! Torneremo sicuramente!

Das Personal - besonders die Rezeption und ein Kellner beim Frühstück waren sehr nett. Das Zimmer war immer ordentlich aufgeräumt und sehr sauber. Die Poolanlage mit insgesamt 3 Aussenpools und einem Innen-Pool war gepflegt wenn auch schon teilweise in die Jahre gekommen (Indoorpool). Durch die Nachsaisonbelegung - die allerdings recht gut war, war der Barbetrieb sehr eingeschränkt. Zum Frühstück wurde reichlich aufgetragen - wenn das Nachlegen manchmal auch erst auf Nachfrage erfolgte.

Das Zimmer war im Verhältnis zum Bett etwas zu klein, der Schrank hat keine gute Einteilung - zu wenig Ablagefächer, man muss alles auf Bügel hängen. Das Bad war relativ neu aber auch sehr beengt, große Dusche, kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten für Wäsche und Handtücher, der zusätzliche Plastikschemel stand eher im Weg. Man war praktisch gezwungen, jeden Tag die Handtücher zu wechseln, da kaum Trockenmöglichkeit bestand. Eine Leselampe am Bett war defekt, der Spültaster war ebenso defekt und nur begrenzt einsatzbereit. Das Angebot an deutschen Fernsehprogrammen war dezimiert. Leider hatte man bei einem Großteil des Personals das Gefühl, dass diese selbst Urlaub bräuchten - vielleicht ein Problem der Nachsaison. Zum Frühstück hätte ich mir gerade in Italien mehr Abwechselung beim Obst/Gemüse gewünscht: es gab durchweg Tomaten, Gurken, saure Gurken, eingekochte Pflaumen, geschnippelte Äpfel und Unreife Ananas - das geht besser! Wir haben einmal das Dinner im Hotel in Anspruch genommen: Essen war sehr gut, Service und Ambiente eher mies. (Kellner unmotiviert - Keine Kerze - grelle Oberlichtbeleuchtung - Vorspeise Gast eins kam mit Hauptgang Gast zwei, Hauptgang Gast eins kam sehr verspätet, gewünschte Nachspeise war nicht lieferbar: Da ist noch Luft nach oben! Allerding sei an dieser Stelle gesagt, das auch das dazugehörige Restaurant in Torri nicht zu empfehlen ist.

Als "Einstieg" an den Gardasee für 4 Tage sehr gut, aber nächste Reise ein anderes Hotel.

Zimmer im 2. OG mit Balkon zum See, Ausstattung des Zimmers relativ neu, groß und sauber. Kostenfreier Parkplatz. Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr angenehm war die Nutzung der oberen Pools bei den neu gebauten Appartements, super Aussicht auf den See.

Wer Straßenlärm nicht mag, sollte sich für ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude entscheiden oder ein anderes Hotel. Auf der einzigen Straße am See kommt neben dem eh schon hohen Verkehrsaufkommen jeden Morgen gegen 5 Uhr die Müllabfuhr und leert die Container an der Straße - was ja grundlegend nicht verkehrt ist, aber eben sehr laut. Ein Teil des Hotels ist in seinem "ursprünglichen Zustand" aus den 60er Jahren - zwar alles sauber, verströmt aber den Charme der damaligen Zeit. Dazu gehört auch der Innen-Pool und die Lobby. Wer in die Stadt möchte, muss einen Fußmarsch von mindestens 20 min in Kauf nehmen. Man kann zwar auch im Hotel zu Abend essen, allerdings erst ab 19.00 Uhr - deshalb haben wir dies nicht genutzt.

Sicherheit und Service sollten in einem Hotel selbst verständlich sein

Unser Zimmer hatte Seeblick, was sehr schön war.. jedoch war der Lärm der Landstraße, die direkt am Hotel vorbei ging ,sehr laut. Jeden Morgen so gegen 4 Uhr kommt die Müllabfuhr..und anschließend geht der Autoverkehr wieder los! Sehr nervig.. Sehr schön ist die Sky Terrasse mit wunderschönen Blick auf den See.

Unser Aufenthalt war leider sehr enttäuschend und vor allem beunruhigend.Gleich am ersten Morgen stand um 8.00 ein fremder Mann in unserem Zimmer- wir lagen noch im Bett und haben uns sehr erschreckt. Der Gast hatte sich offenbar in der Etage vertan, doch hätte er niemals mit seiner Karte unsere Tür öffnen können, die richtig verschlossen war.. wir mussten feststellen dass auch wir mit unserer Zimmerkarte andere Zimmertüren öffnen konnten.. Auch ganz ohne Karte ging unsere Tür auf… einmal stand sie weit offen als wir vom Frühstück zurück kamen… jeder hätte die Situation ausnützen können.. zusätzlich fiel regelmäßig der Strom aus,obwohl die Zimmerkarte im Halter steckte. Trotz mehrfacher Hinweise auf diese massiven Sicherheits-und Technikprobleme wurden wir an der Rezeption nicht ernst genommen, sondern eher belächelt. Eine Entschuldigung oder Entschädigung gab es keine.

Super Lage , toller Ausblick , bes. von der Terrasse der Villa Remo! Tolle Pools ! Schöne Liegegelegenheiten, Doppel und Einzelliegen! Alles super sauber und gepflegt! Schöne neue Bar ! Tolles Zimmer im neuen Sky view-Haus mit Terrasse und kleiner Grünanlage !

Frühstück zwar vielfältig, aber die billigen kleinen abgepackten ( nicht nachhaltig) „ Marmeladen“ passen nicht zu einem so schönen 4 Sterne Hotel ! Wir waren zum 3. Mal dort und leider hat sich auch an der Brotauswahl nichts geändert. Ab 9:15 ist das dunkle Brot schon leer , Vollkornbrot gibt es nicht und die kleinen Brötchen sind hart . Haben uns manchmal Brot vom Bäcker geholt !

Freundlichen Empfang, sehr saubere Zimmer. Obwohl wir die Handtücher aufhängten wurden sie jeden Tag gewechselt. Es waren drei unterschiedlichen Pools vorhanden, das war sehr toll. Frühstück war alles vorhanden und es wurde auch stets nachgefüllt. Ein sehr schönes Hotel, jederzeit gerne wieder.
