Detached house ground floor and first floor. Wi. fi. SAT TV. 100mt from the sea

Great spot in Puerto del Carmen, close to amenities, bars, restaurants and the beach. Only disappointment was not being able to use the sun terrace, which was included in the pictures when we booked, only advised on arrival that it's now classed as unsafe.

Had a little 4 night stay here over carnival weekend and cant say anything negative about the place. On my own i felt safe, it was in a quiet area, and bed was comfy. Was nice to sit early morning or evening in the garden as was private. Thought the price i paid was fair for time of year. Tackling the stairs after one to many beverages was a task so a hand rail of sort wouldnt go a miss but apart from that, i liked the property and would stay again

Owing to a bad experience elsewhere, I now prioritise holiday homes with their own car parking. This home claims to have "parking" but actually that seems to mean (to the owner) that payment-free, on-street parking, somehow qualifies. In my opinion, it doesn't. Your mileage may vary (as they say).Other holiday homes I've rented in the Canaries have had satellite TV for entertainment: This home has an Internet streaming box: great, in principle, but the implementation has turned everything into "Pay-per-view" including (somehow) even humble-old YouTube. If you like to watch a little TV in the evenings, I suggest that you take your own Chromecast/Amazon Firestick/Whatever and just use the HDMI on the TV.Small point is that the rooftop sun bathing area has been closed, apparently due to safety concerns from the controlling authority.Finally: I had this holiday home booked for literally months in advance, yet somehow, i had to chase-up arrival information in the final few days, and didn't actually get information concerning accessing the property until I was actually in the air, flying from the UK to Lanzarote: the managing company "MR Lanzarote" accused me of being "stressed-out": I'd say "with some justification! "

Good break, but the house is disappointing to say the least. Have stayed in better for less money. Location is good, small shop 2 mins away, main prom about 450m down hill. 1. Basic stuff - new batteries required for both clocks ! 2. Both sunbeds on the solarium require to be replaced as both ate broken, have no pads and are severely bleached by the sun causing everything to get a white coat is using 3. On entry, there's a cracked tile in the living area, there are more in the laundry area. 4. No instructions to locate the pool advertised 5. Sat TV - unable to work, lucky we carry our own firestick 6. Crockery in the kitchen - some cups chipped some stained, glasses.... 3 x wine and a couple of random small glasses 7. Utensils, nothing to stir a pot (seems like a moan and we used a spoon but all this adds up) 8. **AirCon ** is good.... but is only located UPSTAIRS, there is a fan for downstairs. 9. Kitchen is tired, as is the rest of the house - except both bathrooms, they have has a make over. pity the downstairs showerhead is only hung by one screw and its not that tight. 10. No banister on the stairs - not good if your not too steady on your feet. 11. Cockroaches - we seemed to have a plague of them to start with I think this list could be added to, but have spent enough time on what looks like a moan / rant. I have also checked back on previous reviews of which there are few - some of these items were recorded back as far as 2018 and still not resolved.
