A very belligerent man was checking in and giving the woman a hard time and it was kind of a scary situation. I almost left to go someplace else but it was getting late so I stayed and checked in. The location was kind of off the main roads. It was old but kept in pretty good condition.

Convenient location … breakfast across the street, and visiting my parents’ grave next door! Ideal for me.
Although it was a Handicap accessible room, there was no reach bar or handle when using the toilet… minor issue for us.
hair dryer did not work… again, minor issue.

Great location. Ample parking.
Breakfast choices were skimpy. Fresh fruit in short supply. The shower would benefit from having a grab bar.

The hotel is conveniently located just off US 30, which was the road we were traveling on, so we could whip off the highway and the next morning get right back on. The staff at the front desk were pleasant. The room, once we got the right one, was OK -- not spectacular, but comfortable and good enough for one night, Breakfast was OK, the usual budget motel fare.
The building looks derelict and because there is nothing around it, we did not feel safe, although we had no problems on that account. I booked a double non-smoking room and the computer said I booked a single smoking room. What would have happened if there were no other rooms available? She was able to give us a new room, but when we opened the door it looked like construction was going on, it was a mess. She then gave us a second room. Altogether, not a good start to our stay and made us feel uncomfortable, although it all turned out OK.
