Hidden Gem

The best thing about this place was how quiet and peaceful it was. The Wi-fi was excellent, and all instructions were short, clear and easy to follow. Communication with the host was very good. I also enjoyed the terrace with table and chairs. The property, furniture and facilities are well maintained and everything works as it should. About 25 min walking from the train station. There are buses available too.

There was nothing I particularly disliked. Everything was comfortable and worked well for my stay.

The space and layout was very good, quiet on an evening. Great parking for one vehicle. Friendly and responsive hosts. Lighting, blinds and window systems were good to have and instructions were very clear. WiFi was excellent. Location was not far from the centre. The electric fans were really essential considering the heat although one of the fans wasn't in the best of conditions. All-in all, good value accommodation for four people.

These are small things for an otherwise very nice accommodation tbh but would make it excellent: Some more hooks in the bathroom and a shelf for toiletries would be useful. Also, a washing line for the courtyard would help. A plug for the kitchen sink or a bowl would help. The rug, sofa and outside area would really benefit from a good clean. A small freezer compartment would have been a benefit too considering the heat.

A totally great location, right next door to family we were visiting. Just a few minutes walk to some lovely pubs and to the beach. It has a very usable kitchen, comfy beds, and is a nice place to just hang out. We were on the go the whole time but it was so nice to come home to at the end of the day.

Homey with a warm feeling, nice to be able to park the car in a private space. The location is good in quiet surroundings. The kitchen was well equipped.

We expected a lot more from this place, given the reviews.. However, I was not so impressed. The patio was unkept, with old leaves and loads of spider webs. One afternoon, we saw a big rat there, so we didn’t dare to keep the door open. There were a number of small inconveniences that were disappointing - the drain in the shower was clogged, the bed was not very comfy, the roof windows were really dirty… Also, the hosts did not answer our messages via Booking.
