Hove Mansions Apartment

- everything about the place was nice. Loved it. - close to everything or a short bus (shame about the road works and crappy weather as made the bus journey slightly longer) - Apartment was very cosy and kids loved it. esp the entertainment. - kitchen had everything and we didn't have to bring our own stuff. - I read reviews about the parking and tbh, it wasn't that bad at all. a few yards, you get parking (11hrs for £9) and free on Sundays until 9am on Monday). not bad at all if you ask me. - restaurants/pubs/bars/groceries, you name it. Hove as it all and the apt was walking distance to everything. very handy. host was kind enough to leave recommendations on where to eat and we checked out 2 places. Both very good

No instructions (or at least we didn't see one) on how to operate central heating so it kept cutting off even after setting to manual. Not ideal when weather is this cold and with kids.

It was large enough for what we wanted

Great location, plenty of places nearby to eat and drink. Short walk to the beach and then 20mins and you're at the main pier. Set back from the main road so pretty quiet too.

Only one set of keys, so you have to leave the keys in the lockbox for anyone else to use. Means opening up the main door, then opening and wedging open the flat door and then going back to put the keys back in the lockbox.

Great location and a beautiful apartment with 3 good size bedrooms. The owner answered my questions prior to our visit very quickly

The bedrooms are on the lower ground/basement and there was a fairly strong smell of damp and mould which impacted our sleep
