Fatima & her staff ( her 2 sisters) went above & beyond what you'd expect for staying in a hotel. I made a mistake by booking for 2026 & was worried upon my arrival. She organized everything, got us a room for the night , gave us some shawls for going to the hot air balloons at 4.00am

Great breakfast, kind and very supportive staffs. This is a family run hotel, owner is very, really kind and eager to help you for your travel and vacation. Ortahisar is relatively quiet place. If you want to experience a quiet, authentic cave hotel, this will be your choice.

Most beatifull and luxurious hotel room we ever stayed

From the moment we walked in it was if we were staying in the sultans cave palace. The most beautifull, authentic and luxurious hotel we stayed in ever. Everything you want abd need in a beautifull cave room including bubble bath and a great view of the valley. For western standards it was a very good price!

If i could give more than 10 stars or rating i would. I loved the host Fatma and everyone who worked there. They were very helpful, friendly, and very kind. We arrived late and were hungry and Fatma had menus from local restaurants to deliver us food. She also arranged a private taxi for us to take us on tours, lunch and dinner. We did hot air balloon and ATV on our own, but she is able to arrange those as well. Breakfast was incredible! All home cooked and traditional turkish breakfast. At nights when we would be outside and it was cold, we were given tea. The man who worked at night was very kind and helpful. We would bring food back from outside and he would provide us with plates, utensils, and drinks. On the first night there was an outside light shining into room and he turned it off for us when we we would go to the room for bedtime. Although hotel isnt in Goreme area, taxi can be arranged to go there. Once you go to the main town where all the restaurants and shops are, there are so many taxi stands that you will always have a way to go back to hotel. Maximum 80 lira each way, it is about a 10 min drive so worth the money since its a meter taxi. Did not want to stay in Goreme area because its busy and noisy, so we loved that we woke up to sounds and views of nature and birds. One morning we saw hot air balloons pass by on the terrace! Everyone at the hotel made our stay at Cappadoccia very memorable. They took care of us like we were family. Will definitely stay here again!

A beautiful experience!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and Fatma and her family are great hosts! Every morning we had a delicious breakfast and if we needed anything Fatma and her family would always help us. If we wanted to do an activity all we had to do was ask the host and they would take care of it including transportation. We had a beautiful honeymoon. Thank you very much for all you have done for us Fatma, we will never forget!

Excellent place Friendly staff Helpful staff - we din't have an itinerary but the staff helped us throughout and we enjoyed every but of capadocia. We din't feel like we missed anything Quite and scenic Bathroom bigger than the room it self with a private jacuzzi.. Rooms were rustic and huge

Heel erg mooi gelegen. Een plaatje! Personeel is super vriendelijk en zeker met ALLES behulpzaam. De (mede) eigenaresse Fatma is zeer vriendelijk en zeker zeer HARTELIJK! Zeer goed ontbijt!

Un séjour parfait <3

Un accueil exceptionnel. Des conseils avisés sur la région, une superbe vue depuis la chambre, un hôtel situé dans un village pittoresque et authentique, beaucoup plus calme que Göreme mais assez proche des points d’intérêt. Mais le meilleur de ce séjour restera Fatma et sa famille. Nous n’avons pas eu l’impression d’être dans un hôtel mais plutôt d’être invités chez une cousine, dans une grande maison familiale, typique de la région. Et point important pour les gourmands, Fatma nous a régalés avec des petits déjeuners variés et savoureux. Les quatre nuits sont passées trop vite. Nous reviendrons!
