Very helpful not over attentive host whose attention to detail throughout the property is a credit to her and Irish hospitality. Ideal location for accessing the coastal way and last part of Donegal we failed to cover during our time there

Perfect location and had everything you’d need and lots more, loads of information of the area’s facilities, host was excellent leading up to arrival,during and after. Perfect for a family break just felt at home, a very loved and very clean property. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage (4 adults and 2 kids). Very well managed with very minute things taken care of. Owner provided almost all required things like aluminium foil, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cereals for kids etc and a bottle of wine too :) They even kept all kind of waste bags, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid and sponge which was quiet handy. Owner was available everytime when we needed assistance. We stayed there for Easter weekend so they kept Easter eggs for my kids which was really a nice gesture. There was utility room as well which we didn't use but my kids and husband made full use of games and toys room, they absolutely loved it. This property is just 30 minutes drive from Belfast city airport. Overall 5 stars for location, cleanliness and facilities. I would recommend this property to anyone.

It was a perfect location for our needs. The pool table and jacuzzi bath were great, but what made it extra special were all the little extra touches left by Ann!

Excellent and exceeds the WOW factor.

Ann, the host, was very attentive, accommodating and sought to all our requests. The accommodation is exactly what was advertised and more. We have used many accomodations around Northern Ireland on different occasions and we collectively believe this to be the best so far. For someone like me, who would take a lot to satisfy, I would, without a doubt, recommend highly to both my friends and tourists alike. Excellent for families too. The local people that we have encountered have been a pleasure too...

I would though find very worrying is the amount of flags pertaining to demographics. It can be unnerving, but the local population that we have encountered have been excellent and have advised us accordingly.

Burndavis Lodge was a truly fantastic find on booking.com. We were attending a family wedding & required accommodation for six people. The bungalow was spacious, very well presented, spotlessly clean & had everything we needed, a true home from home . Even though we didn't get to meet Ann because of covid regulations she had left us extra treats which were unexpected but really appreciated 🥰. Communication with Ann from start to finish was excellent we couldn't ask for anything more. I definitely would have no hesitation recommending this wonderful property to anyone . Thank you Ann

Amazing weekend away

Ann was such an amazing host, friendly and looked after every single detail, she went above and beyond to make us all feel welcomed. The house is exceptional and family friendly, we had our 4yo and 2yo with us and they really enjoyed themselves. The bath is amazing, kitchen and dining area are spacious and all the appliances working perfectly. Sitting room is so cosy, kids loved lying on the carpet to colour their books. Bedrooms were comfy and very clean, upstairs we were able to unwind with a game of pool while the kids were asleep. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back.

Great host! Easy to contact. Lovely house-home from home. Kids loved the games room & the wee treats left out. I loved the carton of milk in the fridge after a long hot drive. Those wee extra touches were so lovely!

Shower was a bit awkward. You step down into it. If mobility is an issue make sure someone is there to help you. Otherwise we’re very happy we chose Burndavis Lodge!

A home from home for our trip to a wedding locally. Beds were so comfortable, whole house was spotless and beautifully presented Ann had even provided some very welcome extra touches. A very enjoyable and pleasant stay is a roomy house with added extras that are not usually provided.

We booked the house as it is close to the wedding venue where our friends' son was getting married. There was plenty of room, the living room and kitchen are spacious, there was a fridge and a fridge/freezer. Two bathrooms, one quite large. We didn't make use of the back garden area due to lack of time and some rain. The front garden is well maintained. There is also a snooker room so that was very enjoyable to use in the evenings. Ann left us a home made cake and various other provisions which was lovely. She also left chocolates on the beds and a special duvet cover for our friends granddaughter. Lots of touches that made us feel welcome and we had a very comfortable stay.

The only comment I can make is that there is only sufficient crockery and cutlery for 6 people so we only used the dishwasher once as we needed to re-use the items, but it was not a problem.

A wonderful home from home!

Perfect house for our stay. The house was incredibly clean and has everything you could need. The addition of the billiard table was a real treat and kept us occupied for hours! Although due to the pandemic we couldn’t meet Ann face to face she communicated with us regularly and shared details of places to visit and things to do. The treats on arrival went down very well and Ann always checked if there was anything we needed.
