Great host, good location, clean, spacious and has everything we needed.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Tavnaghoney Cottage. Great communication from the owner from beginning to end. It was a lovely surprise to find the cottage had been decorated with some Halloween bits, which my youngest loved. A few treats had also been left for us, which was very much appreciated. Cottage is in a good location, clean, spacious and had everything we needed whilst away.

The cottage is beautiful, quiet and in a lovely location. Perfect for our family group with 2 children with additional needs. The facilities were clean and as listed, we had a very happy and comfortable stay.

Everything was perfect and we had a great weekend. Peace and quiet, lovely views, quality time with family. Our host had even decorated the cottage with Halloween items and the kids loved it. Cannot recommend it enough!

My only issue was that the wi-fi signal in the bedrooms was not great, but maybe that's a good thing!

Beautiful weekend stay with family

Beautifully situated with lovely views. Very close to Cushendall with great access to the rest of the beautiful Glens of Antrim and the north coast. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy. It was also decorated for Halloween which was such a lovely touch! I stayed here with my mum and 2 aunts and there was plenty of room with 3 bathrooms and 6 beds. Great for anyone with accessibility concerns as 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor. We would definitely stay again, Caroline and Padraig were so lovely and helpful- great hosts.

What a wonderful surprise. This location lived up to everything in the announcement and then some. Out of the way means it was very quiet in the evening, which we greatly enjoyed. Lots of space to lounge around.

A superb location in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the Giant’s Causeway, Antrim Coast, Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, and Derry/Londonderry, all within easy driving distance. Set in a peaceful spot, the cottage itself is spacious, very well equipped, and has convenient parking right outside. Everything we needed was provided, and we thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in a convenient location

This was a lovely cottage, within a short drive of Cushendall. On arrival we were very pleased with our first view of the exterior which is beautifully maintained. The interior exceeded our expectations with fresh and appealing decor throughout. Our party of 4 were excellently accommodated as there are 3 bathrooms and sleeps 7 people. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. Our hosts were very attentive checking to ensure all was satisfactory. We would look forward to staying here again in the future

There was genuine sense of it being a home from home, and not just a place to use as a base for a holiday. The rooms were spacious, the living room comfortable, the beds or a high standard and the setting gorgeous.

Wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of Ireland.

The cottage had tons of space and was in a beautiful area. The landscaping was fantastic. There was an enclosed courtyard filled with toys for little kids and a cupboard full of board games for those travelling with children. Caroline also left us a portable barbecue and all the makings for tea and coffee and even a little treat. It was super quiet and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Northern Ireland. It is above and beyond any other place we have stayed.

There was enough space so everyone felt like they had their own space. 3 toilets, 2 showers and a bath. The back garden area is private with kids garden toys. WiFi available aswell.

You need to have a car, there's nowhere to go unless you can drive. Although I kind of liked that part aswell. WiFi only worked in the living room.

This was the most amazing place to stay with the best host I could ever imagine. Everything you could ever need was there. The place was clean, comfortable, and my children loved the back patio with the toys. This was absolutely my favorite place we stayed on our Ireland trip. Great location. I would come back to Ireland just to stay here again. The host was so hospitable and gave us great recommendations of things to do all around Ireland. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the host. I truly wish we could’ve spent longer here.

Hidden gems

Tavnaghhoney cottages truly are hidden gems. They contain everything you could want or need for a holiday. The scenery is simply breathtaking. We were welcomed with milk in the fridge and a fresh box of tea bags in the cupboard, which was most welcome after a long day travelling. Our host, Caroline stopped by on the first evening to offer advice on the local area and to ensure we were happy with the facilities.

Highly recommend! Wonderful property!

The layout of the property was excellent for families with small children. Plenty of space to play! The back garden was secure and equipped well. It was immaculate. No a speck of dust anywhere. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us lots of recommendations. It was in a beautiful costal quiet location which is exactly what we wanted.

We booked all 3 cottages for a family celebration and were very happy with the whole setup. Caroline made sure we had everything we need. Just a few mins away from the town, the cottages were warm and comfortable and family friendly.

A clean, quiet and comfortable base for exploring lovely Antrim.

Very clean, good size, 3 toilets/bathrooms (2 en-suite), well-equipped kitchen, warm, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, very quiet (even with 2 neighbouring cottages occupied, easy parking, access to local amenities and places to visit. Tranquil and beautiful location.

Minor niggles: floor finish wonky in places, back view not the best, some kids’ outside play sets might need retiring, some saucepan handles get too hot.
