Quiet, beautiful, and relaxing place

Amazing place and wholesome family. The mountains are beautiful to look at, the pool is perfect to cool off during summer, and the house had everything we needed. Pet friendly place (extra fee, but that’s common in the south). The hosts were very kind, we’ll definitely come back!

Very rough road, had to be extra careful to not damage the underside of the vehicle. Funky smell coming off the bathroom at times.

Wonderful location with lovely owners

Peace and tranquility in rural Spain. The views from the house are spectacular and can be enjoyed from the luxury of the wonderful swimming pool. With it's superb hiking and lovely restaurants, Yanquera is a great location for a holiday and La Revuelta is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature, surrounded by olive, lemon and orange groves. The owners are very friendly and helpful - thank you for the fresh oranges !!

Looking forward to our next stay

We are definitely going to stay here again. The location - for someone who wanted privacy, peace and sunshine - was perfect. The drive along approx. a half mile of roughly concreted road was, at first, a little daunting, but well worth the end result. Set on a outcrop with a valley either side, we were able to have breakfast by the pool, gazing at mountains and forests all around us. Just perfect. The house itself is quite compact, but well put together and well maintained. The pool is right next to the patio, and is very child-safe. We used the barbeque, and ate on the large patio in the evening sun, with no sounds except the forest and the occasional rooster. It was magical.

A few problems with the internet connection - but to actually get the internet at all in a quiet place like this was pretty good. And I guess the house could have been less compact - but local housing laws are very strict, and prevent building above a certain square footage, so there's nothing that can be done.

Exceptional

The location is stunning. The pool area is beautiful. There is a good walkway into the town through the groves that avoids most of the main road. Car parking is great, as are the outside dining areas. The hosts were very helpful and tolerant of our poor Spanish.

1. The matress on one of the twin beds was a little bit uncomfortable. 2. That we could only stay for one night on our way back to Seville airport for a flight. It would be nice to stay for a few days.

Buenas vistas pero poco confort

Las vistas

Casa bastante pequeña. Salón pequeño con muchas cosas que no era nada cómodo Cocina pequeña La luz saltaba con mucha frecuencia. No se podía poner nada de calefacción ni nada La leña tenía un precio aparte después del precio elevado de la casa.
