FANTASTIC VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL AND GARDEN IN ISTAN NEAR MARBELLA

The Villa is superbly located with great views. It is right in the hills with a view over Istan to one side and the lake to the other. It is large, there were 6 of us staying but it could of easily accommodated more. The outside area is great for eating and the pool was amazing! The owners were easy to contact and gave us clear, timely and helpful instructions on how to get to the property and access it. We had a great time and would definitely recommend

After searching for our perfect place to spend for a special family reunion, we discovered Victoria's Villa. It lived up to all our expectations, and more. The house is on one level, with lots of spaces to relax, and eat. The rooms all spacious, especially the kitchen. And the outdoor bar/kitchen area by the pool perfect for all day dining. Lots of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the stunning view. The house is very private and yet close enough to walk to the pretty village of Istan. Lots of local walks for those who like to exercise. Victoria and Maria were very helpful and available if needed. Everything you need is thought of. It was the perfect place for us and we were all very sad to leave.

We rented this house as a getaway for us and our daughter's family (two kids, 5 and 2). Out of the many rental properties we have visited, this tops the list. Just WOW! Communication with the owners was consistent and amiable. The house is immaculate. Victoria herself gave us our orientation tour upon arrival, providing us with fresh oranges, lemons and avocadoes from her orchard (!!!), as well as a few items to get us through breakfast the next day (coffee pods, coffee cake, milk, cold bottled water). Our grandsons lived in the pool which was kept clean by Antonio. Our favorite spot to eat dinner was at the outside table next to the built-in grill, but there were 4 other tables to choose from! Cannot recommend this house highly enough. As grandson5 says, "I want to come back next year."

This is our second stay at Casa Victoria and our second stay was just as relaxing as the first. Maria and Victoria have gone to great lengths to update the property and also to ensure it was C19 safe. We felt relaxed, comfortable and safe. The new bathroom, outside upgrades and super king sized beds were a welcome addition.

Casa Victoria far exceeded all our expectations for our 2 week stay in August 2019. The Villa was exceptionally clean and there are many small touches that the owner has made that make it feel like home from home. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs, glasses, cutlery and cookware for the 9 of us. The decor in each of the bedrooms was individual and welcoming. There is ample seating & eating areas in and around the villa & grounds with the added benefit of plenty of opportunity for shade. The swimming pool was a huge hit with all ages and is cleaned every day. There are ample sun loungers and beach towels to use as well as play equipment & toys for children (& adults). There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board in the villa to use and air conditioning throughout. The outside bar provides an additional area to store and prepare food & drink next to the BBQ area. The owner, Victoria, was very helpful and welcoming and shared fruit and eggs with us during our stay as well as offering advice regarding the local area and facilities. There is a 15 minute drive down to Marbella & Puerto Banus where you will find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and lovely beaches. The villa is about 1km from the village of Istan which has a small selection of bars/restaurants serving typical spanish food, a bakery, small convenience store & bank. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk into Istan, although I would recommend using a torch/phone if you are returning to the villa in the dark. Overall, Casa Victoria provides an excellent base for exploring this area of Spain. The villa is of a very high standard in terms of cleanliness and facilities and I would certainly recommend it as a holiday base. We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful property. Everything was just as described on the website. Spotlessly clean house with 5 good sized bedrooms & very comfortable beds. Great clean pool area and gardens. Weather very hot in July but cool mountain breezes were welcomed. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to go back. Istan itself is a lovely little village, a little quiet as you would expect. On our last night there a number of restaurants were closed (a Tuesday night). But we found a lovely restaurant 25 mins away in Marbella (El Carnicero 2) which was just perfect. Hotel nearest the house doesn't operate a restaurant which was a little disappointing. All in all though a great holiday villa & area.

We had an absolutely brilliant time at casa Victoria. The photos don't really show how good it is. Victoria and her daughter Maria were really helpful whenever we needed anything. Short walk into Istan an a quiet road (watch out for cyclists) and lively bar and good restaurant. 20 mins down to the coast on a great road if you don't mind hairpins. Overall an excellent villa in a great location.

Everyone in the family enjoyed our stay in Casa Victoria. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The generous outside space allowed us many places to go for a quiet moment and to enjoy the lovely views. Victoria herself couldn't have been more kind and helpful which we really appreciated. No one could be unhappy in this setting and with Victoria always ready to help.

Everything was in pristine condition and we had all the facilities we needed at hand for a comfortable stay. The majestic view, lovely house and lush gardens (complete with grapes and fruit we could pick off trees) are even more beautiful than the photos imply. There was plenty of space for all of us and several cozy corners to sit together and enjoy the warm evenings. The host family were wonderful and took each of our questions and requests very seriously. They were quick, efficient and patient in helping us with whatever we needed.The pool was perfect for all of us: the children, who barely got out of the water, could splash around, and those of us who appreciate a bit of swimming and diving could occupy the deep end. There was an abundance of pool toys and inflatables to entertain ourselves with. The water felt cool when first getting in, but offered relief from the hot sun and became comfortable once you had spent a minute in it.The 15-minute drive along the curvy hillside road to the villa left everyone with lasting impressions. Coming from flat country, it took some getting used to at first and (depending on the drivers ability to contain his zeal) made one or two of us a bit seasick from time to time. The views it offered were stunning, however, and most of us found it positively thrilling.The remote location also means you get to relax in a secluded and peaceful environment, with only a few neighbors - who include ducks, chickens and peacocks. If we felt rested enough, however, we could venture out to Malaga, Gibraltar, Tarifa and other points of interest which were all a short drive away. Istans restaurants and quaint narrow streets were also just a few bends from the casa.We couldnt have made a better choice for our stay!

We were lucky enough to stay at Casa Victoria for 4 weeks this summer. We were a large party of 4 adults and 5 children of varying ages from 6 months to 5 years. Firstly the host family are awesome, nothing is too much trouble and they really care that your holiday is the best it can be, often Victoria would bring us figs, avocados and eggs in the morning, fresh from the garden. On that note the gardens are tremendous, they are so beautiful and there is an abundance of avocados and oranges as well as grapes, pears and pomegranates, to name a few. The fresh herbs and flowers have even inspired me to be more green fingered on my return home to England. The house is a home, there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided and there is air con in every room. The wifi was reliable and the beds comfy and clean. One of the best bits is the pool house, it's awesome!! It has a fridge and freeer and we had great times in the evening making cocktails and cooking on the BBQ. There are plenty of places to eat around the villa as well, a choice of 5!! The view is pretty special and one evening when eating dinner we could see the coast of Morocco. The pool area is also very secure and having the baby pool made it really easy to enjoy the outside area with children. The grounds are very secure and safe with 2 lots of security gates and fencing were appropriate. There is also a small kids play area which is undercover so nice and cool. The local area is beautiful and Istan is very traditional and welcoming, just don't attempt to drive through it. We recommend a visit to the local pool, it's really peaceful and there is a great restaurant next to it called H2O. Other local attractions which we enjoyed were Aqualand (pick up a discount leaflet from the airport), Red Tide fishing trips from Puerto Banus and a day out to Gibraltar (about an hour away). One of our best experiences was when Victoria and her cousin came to the villa to cook traditional Andalusian food for us. It was really something special and delicious. This villa is a gem! I could of stayed forever!!

A genuinely beautiful villa, well maintained, tasteful in every way and equipped with everything you need for a superb vacation. Stunning views and close to a lovely town, Istan. Victoria and her family are extremely helpful and accommodating, as were the people at Hotel Los Jarales where you can take a short walk for a well deserved beer. Many thanks to Victoria and her daughter for your help in making this a fantastic holiday for our family.

We couldn't fault the villa it was perfect for our family and parents, with the age range from 5 years old to 80s we all loved staying at the villa. As it was October the pool was a little cold but fine for me and the kids. Victoria was very helpful, always on hand when needed. It might help if there was a folder explaining some of the do's and donts at the villa, where lights are, etc. Also a list of supermarkets and facilities in Istan, but we found it all out anyway. I would recommend to anyone with large groups.

2 families (4 adults & 4 children) We absolutely loved our stay at wonderful home in the hills. The house is homely and a huge amount of space inside and outside. Ideal for 10 persons. The house has got the most amazing view and we loved the pool. We found everything we needed, tv and wifi worker well, the pool is clean plus small for the kids and has great views, the seating areas an BBQ are so relaxing and the lake and mountains view are amazing. Victoria and her daughter are really helpful and nice. Highly recommended!V We had a fantastic holiday! Thank you, Victoria!

A very clean and well maintained villa with gorgeous gardens and beautiful views . Peaceful, quiet and not over looked by anyone. A very welcoming hostess who just lives near the villa and is round to help with anything, even with freshly picked fruit from the property. We had a great time and would strongly recommend this villa Thank you for everything

Desde el primer minuto al llegar al alojamiento, sabíamos que habíamos acertado. Sus anfitrionas Victoria y María Jesús encantadoras. La casa es inmensa, y en perfectas condiciones. Las vista inmejorables hacia el pantano. No falta ni un detalle en las habitaciones , baño y cocina. En su parte exterior una preciosa piscina y diferentes pequeños lugares donde disfrutar de las vistas y la tranquilidad. No dudaríamos en volver a repetir en un futuro viaje a Málaga. Recomendable 100%.

Hemos pasado una estancia estupenda un grupo de buenos amigos. La casa sorprende por todo, equipamiento, limpieza, mobiliario, cocina espectacular, habitaciones.... pero lo que se lleva la palma es la zona del "chiringuito" al lado de la piscina, total!!! Gracias a Victoria y a María Jesús por todo.

Maria et sa maman sont excellente, elles nous ont aidé pour tous que sa soit pour des achats pour les tests Covid-19, nous avons passé 2 semaine superbe vue magnifique. Allez-y les yeux fermés

La casa tiene unas vistas impresionantes y cuenta con unas zonas exteriores inmejorables. La piscina es la guinda del conjunto. Un alojamiento ideal para disfrutar de unos días en compañía de familiares y amigos.

Hemos disfrutado 1 semana en familia en un paraje precioso en la Sierra de las Nieves, sobre el Pantano de la Concepción. La casa con unas vistas magníficas de 360 ° sobre la sierra, está perfectamente equipada y limpia, con muchas zonas de descanso dónde poder observar el paisaje, además del cuidado jardín con un montón de plantas y árboles de diferentes especies. El interior de la vivienda súper cómodo, bien equipado y con detalles de decoración con mucho gusto que te hacen sentir en casa. La zona de barbacoa y cocina de exterior, muy agradable. Tanto Victoria como María Jesús encantadoras, muy de agradecer la cesta de bienvenida con frutas, leche, dulces, café... Sin duda, absolutamente recomendable.

El sitio es fantástico, vistas espectaculares. Casa muy muy limpia con multitud de detalles y absolutamente todo lo necesario. Dueños a nuestra entera disposición y muy amables. Lugar enteramente recomendable para familias.

Een gigantisch huis in de bergen van Istan. Makkelijk te bereiken vanaf de luchthaven Malaga. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien (airco, grote keuken met alle apparatuur en keukengerei) en heeft een prachtige tuin en verschillende terrassen. Ook is er een buiten keuken/bar, met bbq en heerlijke zithoek waar wij veel gebruik van hebben gemaakt. De eigenaresse(n) doen er alles aan om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken en komen zelfs verse vijgen langsbrengen van de fruitbomen rondom het huis. Een paar kleine puntjes van aandacht: de bedden zijn vrij klein voor Nederlandse standaarden; 140cm voor een 2-persoonsbed. Verder is het huis prachtig gelegen (het uizicht is nog mooier dan op de foto's), maar wel wat afgelegen, waardoor je voor vrijwel alles de auto moet pakken. Iets om rekening mee te houden. In het kort: wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met onze (kleine) kinderen en zouden deze woning zeker aanraden!

Super lækker bolig, der er alt hvad man har brug for. Lække udsigt, to pool, stort køkken, masse af områder man kan sidde og nyde huset samt udsigt. Og der er mulighed for skygge over det hele på huset. Søde og hjælpsom ejer, kan kun anbefaler det

Vi (4 vuxna och 5 barn) tillbringade en fantatisk vecka i det här underbara huset. Det fanns gott om plats och det fanns allt man behövde. Utsikten var fantastisk och poolen var stor, ren och fin. Un super accueil lors de notre arrivée. Grosse surprise à la découverte de la magnifique que nous propose cette charmante villa. Très beau paysage, endroit assez calme et paisible. Villa très spacieuse qui permet d'accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes sans aucun problème. Cette villa est très bien équipée ! Celle-ci vous offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un agréable séjour ! Je vous la conseille !
