Dali's Royal Apartment

Само месторасположение самое лучшее! Я очень люблю старый город. Всегда селюсь в этом районе. Дому 150 лет! Очень приятные люди, которые живут рядом. Квартира просторная. Мне понравилось качество сна, удобная кровать. Хорошая кухня, где можно удобно готовить. Окна кухни выходят на общий коридор и уютный тихий двор. Хорошо работающие кондиционеры. В гостиной темновато, но летом , в жару нормально. Замечательная хозяйка и ее мама, они на связи по телефону - всегда. Спасибо🦋 Мне было здесь хорошо

This is a nice apartment located on a narrow street in a historic part of Tbilisi (the old town). The street itself is a bit run down but the apartment is clean and well-stocked with everything necessary for several guests (fridge, kitchenware, toiletries are provided). Although much of the historic charm is preserved, the place is comfortable. The host was very punctual about meeting me at the doors and answered all my questions quickly.

I only needed the apartment for an afternoon - to rest and take a shower before a late night flight. Unfortunately, I could not do it because the apartment had no water! After 40 minutes of waiting and communicating with the host, I had to go to a local public bath for the shower. I ended up getting at one of the sulfur baths. It was an interesting experience but, after a long day of travel, I would rather take a quick shower and had a few hours of sleep instead of going out again in the dark to find the baths (turned out to be ~15-20 minutes away, each way). Interestingly, the host was able to turn the water on after I came back - there was an alternative line from the other apartment. In any case, that was an unfortunate combination of circumstances but one would expect that when one pays for the apartment, it should come with the basic amenities. Water is one of them and the host should take responsibility for the lack of it. I was not offered any refund for the lack of water. Only when I asked the host to at least reimburse me for the cost of the bath, I got back part of it (25 GEL of the 45 GEL). I didn't want to write a negative review (there many nice things about the apartment) but I think that this is not the right way to run an apartment business.
