Old castle Apartment

Being right behind city walls it was so convenient. It is located in a very old building so gave a real feeling of absorption in the authentic times. Had enough kitchen utensils for a'few days in the city if you want to cook. Good hot showers and bed was comfortable.

We mainly booked an apartment over a hotel as we had been travelling for over two weeks and needed to do a lot of washing etc. Note that there is only a washing machine with no drying facility. We had to have radiators going to dry which made apartment very hot. Also being from Australia we are used to lots of fresh air and light and there are no opening windows. But we dried our clothes and enjoyed our stay.. so convenient 😌

The location is optimal for exploring Tbilisi. Just inside the old city walls of the old town. A large selection of sights such as churches, memorials, restaurants, pubs, and places where you can experience authentic Georgian culture within walking distance of the apartment. The owner was very service minded and always available if you needed help.

Great location - close to the old town. The communication with the host was perfect!

The beds are a bit springy, so not comfortable to sleep on. Same for the couch - it is very soft and is not suitable for sleeping. We had to book another place because this apartment wasn’t suitable for 4 people, as it is advertised. The place was dirty - there was dust and trash on the floor when we arrived. The flat is also quite dark. The facilities are barely passable: there isn’t a single bowl, just a couple of plates and mugs and glasses. The boiler would sometimes shut down and need a reset. The WiFi was weak, it was difficult to work in the apartment.
