Decent hotel in Corfu's worst resort town

The hotel was decent but couldn't overcome bad weather and an over touristed tacky town. Maria the manager does the best she can, but she has been dealt a bad hand.

The wind constantly blew for three days and made using the ocean impossible. There were drunks in the hotel restaurant which management just kept serving. We never ate there again. Sidari Is the poster child for how to ruin a once distinctive coastline. The town caters to the worst of British lout travel and has the ugliest beach in Corfu and perhaps all of Greece. I wanted to leave after the first night, and if traveling alone would have.

Wonderful experience.

Great location, very clean, great facilities, next to Canal d'Amour and to a variety of restaurants! Maria is a wonderful host! The best balance service / price I experienced in Corfu!

I was here in October, so the place was really quite, despite its location next to Cana d'Amour. For those who are travelling in July / August: be aware that the location is in the middle of tourism jam.

Very good

Very nice place with great pool and views. Very close to bus station, beach and great restaurants. The room was pretty with comfortable bed and everything we needed. Also the breakfast served there were amazing!

A nice place to stay at the seashore, with good facilities.

The staff was generally friendly, especially the room cleaner. The proximity to the sea, and the view, were great. The meals were very good. The availability of the pool and bar were great. Parking was available, if a little limited. The facilities in the room were very good.

The receptionist alternated between very warm at times, quite impatient at other times. The sea view, for which we paid extra, was much more scant than we'd expected. The meals, while very good, were expensive, especially the breakfast. The toilet construction was such that it was hard to keep reasonably clean. The parking spaces closer to the sea got caked in salt; facilities for cleaning car windows would have been a good touch.

Can’t wait to return

Fantastic hotel, great friendly staff. Maria and her team do a brilliant job. Spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. Loved the location on canal d’amour and short walking distance to the strip for entertainment. Fell in love with the residential cat, she’s so beautiful and very friendly. Had breakfast every morning, good menu and yummy food. Will definitely return soon 🤗

Perfect location, clean and spacious. We were a group of 6 and were given 3 rooms next to each other, all with direct pool access. Lovely Food and cocktails at the hotel, and the Greek night was the best in the area!

Calm, comfortable luxury

Beautiful location, peaceful but lively, right by the beach, incredible pool. The food and drinks are also great, the brunch dishes are delicious. Incredibly friendly staff, shoutouts to Maria and Spiro!

Nice room centrally located in Sidari

Centrally located. Just opposite Canal D Amour. Maria the manager was very willing to recommend places to visit, sights etc. room was very cozy.

NOT FOR OVER 40's !!! This hotel should come with an appropriate warning

Hotel generally very nice. Location fantastic

Probably our own fault, could have done a bit more research, but this hotel is definitley for young people. As 70 plus year olds, we felt very uncomfortable. Everything is geared to the youngsters, loud music virtually all day. Biggest issue was day trippers, and there were coachloads, who basically took over the whole hotel and had a negative impact on our stay. Some days we couldn't get a suitable sunbed. Tourism is obviously a key part of the hotels business and I understand that, but it should not be at the expense of hotel residents. Also - we booked a studio room but it is tiny,tiny,tiny. Beautifully finished but not very practical, shortage of storage space and ideal for one, but too small for a couple

Perfect!

The location was brilliant as overlooked the sea and Canal D'Armour. The property exceeded our expectations as decorated beautifully and had so many beautiful touches. Our room had it's own patio with sunbeds right by the pool with steps straight in to the water. The staff were all so hard working and attentive and friendly. It couldn't have been better and we will be back for sure!

If you’re visiting Corfu, this place is an absolute must. Our stay was truly unforgettable — we didn’t want to leave! Everything from the staff and atmosphere to the rooms and food exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Maria, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Nice location and staff but not relaxing

Great location, right by the sea and a short walk from restaurants

this is very much a “club”. Expect loud music late into the night, meant that you can’t really use the balcony. Wouldn’t recommend for a relaxing break.

This exceeded my expectations perfect

This property is in the perfect location, it more than exceeded my expectations in every way. Maria and spiros are the perfect hosts and all the staff work very hard. The place is spotless thanks to the cleaners and we had everything we could have wished for. I highly recommend this property and restaurant here it is second to none thank you

Great location lovley hotel maybe a few lessons learnt moving forward would improve things

Rooms were really good everything you wanted modern and clean

Apart from the first day didn’t find the staff over friendly maybe it was because we did our own thing and didn’t spend the days there although had breakfast there 3 times and drinks before we went out at night but overall didn’t spend that much time at the complex and having been to Greece lots of times the hotels don’t seem to take well if you don’t spend lots of time there and do your own thing and the bad side which I found an absolute joke my other half can’t drink normall tea or coffee and the hotel don’t sell roobush tea so she supplied her own tea bags but to be charged 7 euros for 2 small cups of hot water I thought was disgusting considering a full English breakfast is only 9 euros but apart from that was a really lovley place to stay

We had a fantastic stay at Del Mare Beach Hotel. The location is unbeatable, right beside the beach with our room opening directly onto the pool area. The rooms were immaculate, and the showers were excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Maria, the manager, who is always present and goes above and beyond to ensure guests are well looked after. She clearly takes great pride in the hotel, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Food and drinks were also very reasonably priced. We’d love to return in the future.

It would have been great to have a gym or some extra amenities like a pool table or table tennis available.

Unfortunately it was cold and windy during our stay so we didn't get to use the pool. There was no water in the spa.

Peaceful and tranquil.

Rooms very immaculate. Very comfy beds and great air conditioning in the room. View was stunning right over canal d’-amour. Staff were excellent. Maria was very approachable and friendly and even made some accommodation for us that was very appreciated. Spiros was an absolute gent. Cocktails were brilliant and food was tasty.

The literal only thing that could be improved would be having more storage space in the room. As our stay was 8 nights, the extra space to store bags and hang clothes would have been a nice addition.

Best resort hotel

The owner and all the staff are very kind. I was traveling alone and was looking for a safe hotel. This place is great. The interior of the room is decorated by the owner's wonderful interior design and all items are provided. Everything is clean and neat. I thought the food at the restaurant was the best. It was beautifully decorated and tasted great.

Attractive comfortable property with friendly staff. Good location and value for money.

Clean, comfortable room. Good rain shower. Patio with table, chairs, sun lounges and umbrella. Good location at seafront. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Good pool—small but clean. 30 min drive east to Kassiopi and 20 min drive west to Agios Georgios and Afionas—all more attractive than Sidari.

No negatives about the property itself, but the beaches are not soft golden sand, but rather an unattractive dark brown soil-like. The Main Street of shopping and restaurants is tacky.

The room was great, large and came with everything you could need in a room; hairdryer, big fridge, glasses etc. location to sea was next to none with amazing views. Food was great and was relaxing to lay by the pool.

I liked the location on the Canal d’Amour, the beautiful view on the sea and the Albanian mountains from our room and the restaurant, and the friendly personnel. Maria, the manager, is experienced, professional, helpful and friendly. The room was nicely decorated and well equipped.

The whole place is beautiful and well thought out! The room are beautiful and cosy, the views are amazing, the bar and restaurant have great atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy the wonderful view, the food is delicious and the staff always welcoming, friendly and helpful! I had such an incredible stay! Special thanks to Maria, Spiro and the staff that helped make my holiday that much more special! The location is great, close to the village and right at the sea! Beautiful accommodation & incredible staff!

Walking distance from bus station. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Walking distance from shops & restaurants. Right next to the beach (Canal Damour). Modern & clean room with everything you need - great shower, comfy bed and smart TV. Has a pool and restaurant at the accommodation.

There were a number of wasp nests throughout the accommodation - wasps were annoying when eating at the restaurant.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay here. The room was great - spotlessly clean, super comfy bed and the air con was brilliant. We also couldn't hear the music from the bar at all when the balcony doors were closed so no issue there. The location is perfect - right beside the sea and a small beach with gorgeous views of the sunset whilst also being just a few minutes walk from any shops/tour operators/other bars etc you might need to visit as well as the canal d'amour. The beach bar itself is fantastic, huge variety of good quality food and drinks all day and great atmosphere. The staff are what makes this place though - they were all incredibly friendly, helpful and we were made to feel really welcome. Hope to be back someday!

Excellent location. Food was pretty good, big portions! The staff was absolutely wonderful!!! Super kind and helpful.

The rooms were not exactly like the pictures. Outdated bathrooms, leaky toilet, shower curtain in a tiny shower. We had booked a room with 2 single beds which was shown on the pictures but the hotel doesn’t have rooms with twin beds.
