Location is excellent; I'm not sure I can think of a better spot. Super-convenient to transit, major attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. If you're going to be using Porto Sao Bento for day-trips etc., you should consider staying here.
It took me a while to figure out how to turn on the AC unit, but in all honesty that's probably on me haha. The street outside could be a bit noisy at times, but the window shutters helped and it wasn't really that bad anyway. None of us needed to use the earplugs that the hosts thoughtfully provided.

Great communication from host. Amazing location if you don’t mind noise and being in a more touristy area.
You can hear absolutely everything in this apartment. But the ear plugs really help! When I got there, there was only one coffee pod, one toilet roll, and zero hand wash or body wash on the shower.

Great apartment, in a great location. 5-10 minutes to the river. Try Chama restaurant for a fantastic tasting menu, if you want a good 2.5 hour dining experience. Facilities were great, despite the 7 flights of stairs and the air con was a godsend.
We loved the apartment all in all and mostly because of its central location. That being said it was fairly noisy so earplugs are a must. But you can't have both so its central location far outweighed the noise for us.

I was properly informed by the manager on the door keys.
The room is really not suitable for three people. We had to sleep in the sofa bed, but then we didn't have any table, or chairs to sit around. It sleeps three, but is tight to stay without a " living room". The other thing is that the place is very noisy from the street noises. It starts early in the morning, and goes all over the night.
