We stayed at Chrysorama Rooms for one night. It’s located a bit outside of town, but that wasn’t an issue at all since we had a car. The view is absolutely worth it and truly does the place justice. Breakfast was great, and the room was warm and comfortable — perfect for a relaxing stay.

Overall our stay was quite good.

View was excellent. Room was spacious and quite what we expected. The furniture were quite over-aged and the room would need some modernising, The hot water heater was not on at the first night and we run out of hot water before we figured out how to turn it on. The hotel and the neighborhood was quiet, which was nice. Breakfast was ok with quite many options. The place was a little bit hard to find first, a little bit outside the city, that was just ok for us, because we were travelling with a rental care. Very big bonus was, that the hotel had a very big parking place right next to the hotel.

Would be nice if they would turn the hot water heater on before the guest arrives.

Room with a view

All of them are rooms with views. They are halving the restaurant upstairs to put in another line of rooms facing the mountains that sit across the other side of the village, which is located just down below this establishment. A couch sits near the glass end of the room and faces the mountains. The angle of the building affords you a one-in-a-million outlook. The couple who run this place are lovely, and the breakfast was simple and plentiful. The location was a little out of town, but we walked in and out for dinner without an issue. Parking was right there, again, perfect for us.

The coffee could have been better. I love a good cup in the morning and that really let the breakfast experience down

Exceeded expectations in every way.

The view was incredible. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and the host had it ready early for us so we could eat before our tours. The room was quiet, and the air conditioning worked well, even with the heat we experienced during our visit. The host was very friendly and helped us order taxi cabs to get to town.

The shower head was handheld at waist height. We have found this to be somewhat common in various locations throughout Europe, so I am not sure this is particularly a negative however not as convenient as we are used to in the US.

Shower head had to be hand-held and recess had shower curtain. Breakfast was pretty ordinary. Our host didn’t speak English, only German and Greek, so we had to use google for information.

Like a parent's or friend's home

It was my first time staying here, but I would like to stay here again in the future. Stephen and his wife's kindness and generous, warm impression make me feel very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and it would be nice if we could have dinner once the construction is completed. The rooms and hotel are very clean, and the food prepared makes my heart happy.

Wonderful large bedroom suites with balcony. Exceptional view of the sacred mountains. The rooms had everything you needed. Bathroom impeccably clean. Very helpful, informative and friendly host. She called for a tour and negotiated a good price for the family. Delicious breakfast buffet. Lots of variety. Fruits and veggies came from her own organic garden. Highly recommended! Mi

Very nice place with stunning views

Very nice family run hotel, nothing fancy but with little touches that's shows cares and kindness. Family who run the hotel are very nice always with a smile. Rooms are very big, clean and with all you need, also with a balcony with stunning views! Location is great as you will be relax, get best views but still very close to town. Breakfast is in a salon with a terrace with stunning views, the lady serving the breakfast was super nice and attentive, she even prepare a homemade sweet and fruits are from their garden.

come to Meteora must stay at chrysorama rooms

the host is really nice, although they don’t understand English well but they treat us nicely like we are family. they knows we are going to a long walk during visiting monasteries they pack us buns. They saw us having dinner at room, they serve some toast to us as well. also the view from the room and the restaurant, I have to said it was stunning! breakfast is also a plus, all and all during my stays makes me feel at home.

Brilliant place to stay, and such good value for money.

While the hotel and room itself are quaint and basic, all of this is offset with the absolutely incredible view, and very friendly host, Maria.

The room was old and basic, and the shower head could not be mounted above waist high.

Nice budget hotel with an amazing view and super friendly owners

Room was extremely spacious. breakfast was nice a lot to choose from. And the view was just breath taking. Would definitely recommend it for anyone who's traveling on a budget :)

There isn't much not to like there considering price we paid. Perhaps shower could be improved, and decor is slightly outdated, but it didn't bother me at all :)

Very friendly host and fantastic breakfast with a bit of variety each day. Spacious and clean room with balcony. The view from the room to Meteora is exquisite! And it doesn't matter which room you'll get - they all have the same stunning view! Not to mention the sunrises and sunsets!

Disappointing and uncomfortable

View from the hotel was nice

- I understand they cannot speak English… but they cannot speak any other proper European language ( French, German, Spanish, etc) but Greek. They claimed they spoke German but it was so difficult to understand and mainly for those who are not native. since. They could only say a couple of words, no full sentences. We couldn’t communicate at all so t was uncomfortable for us the stay there. Maybe German-speaking people have other experience - it was not really clean the breakfast area, there was literally a dead fly and dust on the place where we could take our cups of coffee. - we were not expecting anything fancy but the atmosphere of the hotel was more like home-hospital for elderly people and the hallway smelled really funny. I don’t recommend the stay since the price is not worth it, we stayed in more modest hotels that met the price-quality value. I hope they don’t take it personal, this is my experience and I hope they use it to improve.
