Watarase Onsen Hotel Sasayuri

The onsens were spectacular. We loved the private, semi outdoor onsen we used at the Hotel Sasayuri. The large open air bath at Yamayuri was impressive and enjoyable. We rented bicycles for free and used them to go to Hongu Taisha. The dining facilities were top tier. Above all else, the staff was incredible kind and accommodating. They managed our ever changing itinerary with grace and went above and beyond. They prepared us bento boxes for our hike to Nachi on relatively short notice. The staff were outstanding.

The only negative is that our air conditioning in our room was not very effective.

Wir haben in einem großzügigen Familienzimmer mit japanischem Wohnbereich und westlichen Betten gewohnt. Es war sehr angenehm eingerichtet. Die hauseigenen Bäder sind sehr komfortabel und bieten auch die Möglichkeit als Paar ins Onsen zu gehen. Das japanische Frühstück und das Dinner waren herausragend und der kulinarische Höhepunkt unserer Japanreise.
