Great location and nice forest view from my room and great outdoor onsen!
The facilities are still a bit old for example there wasn’t USB socket in the room and the room seemed a bit outdated still and there was also some “outdated smell” (can’t describe but you will know what I meant if you enter the room for the first time)

The location of this hotel was outstanding. Having dinner and breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the river whilst watching wildlife pass by was a treat. Also being able to relax on the onsen then take a dip in the river was the highlight of the stay. I did this at night and the morning.
Honestly there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. If I had to be picky chocolate ice cream in the vending machine and and extra pillow would have been appreciated.

Every dinner was excellent, with a different menu each day. The buffet selection was also quite extensive, making it perfect for hikers who need to refuel after a long day on the trail.
The middle-aged man at the front desk was extremely rude and impolite. He was unprofessional and clearly not suited to working in the hospitality industry.
