The stay was perfect and had everything we needed.

Sickeningly mouldy
Good wi-fi. Very cheap.
We thought the price was low, because it is so out of the way, now I see why: No hot water or heating on our last day. Upon entry there was a very mouldy smell, especially in the main bathroom. Fungus was growing in the oven tray. Ice built up in the freezer. The filter was missing from the kettle, so we couldn't use it. Everything is just about not dirty, though not clean either. Train track right outside - audible with closed windows. No double bed - we were hoping we could push them together, but it didn't work. The boiler is in the bedroom-very loud.

Decent WiFi. Good heating and hot water.
No lift. Some lights didn’t work well. The thermostat didn’t work. I had to claim the hair dryer, but when I got one, it was very bad quality, and it’d stop working after a few minutes. There was no iron either.

Was a nice enough apartment, clean inside
Didn’t like the fact that I had to park on the main road twice out of 4 nights. The WiFi just doesn’t work at all so was using my data for tv. The apartment on same floor has piles of rubbish outside their front door which is a health and safety issue.

Very good
Apartment was clean with good facilities. Close to Bathgate rail station for easily 30 min travel to Edinburgh. Bathgate has Morrisons and Tesco superstores with fuel. There is also an Aldi store and Lbrary.
I booked the apartment for three nights. The tv didn't work due to poor ariel connections which I'm sure the host could quickly resolve once aware. Host left a mobile number in the introduction folder but no response on trying. Not the end of the world without tv. Located on 3rd floor without lift so may present issue for elderly / disabled. Generally the apartment was clean, good location and good value for money. I would use again as none of the above would be an issue for myself, part from no communication with host.
